You must be good in writing because your educational background is English Course. Have you tried using your talent to earn money like using your writing skills to publish your ideas in the form of articles in writing sites like Bukisa? I know they pay you for submitting your written ideas there. Have you tried working part-time with them?

Well, I'm not a student, but I do have a part-time job. I'm trying to be successful as an actor and a writer, so my part-time job is really my survival job, so to speak. I find it very helpful, though not ultimately particularly emotionally rewarding, you know? I make enough money that I can continue chasing my dream, but it doesn't really feed my soul.

I had tried to look for part time job during my days in campus, but couldn't get any jobs which suits my time and capability. So, I decided to join my friends in a software writing project. We are rewarded RM5000 per person. It's such a great sum of money for students like in those days. But it's a one time deal, and it's equivalent to the half yearly pay I will get if I work in the restaurant or mall.
Besides, I work as a computer shop assistant during the 3 month semester end holiday. The pay is not high, but suffice for my ordinary spending in campus.

I know many college kids that while studying towards a goal have taken to writing on line and making some nice money while at the same time increasing their knowledge on the topic that they are studying. ANd with so many writers communities on line the support you get from the other members is priceless.

I used to do a part-time job of tutoring during college. It was good because it helped with my expenses during college. I switched to writing at some point. I would work for this organization where they cater to people who look for articles, research papers, etc. It was fun, interesting and it helped me learn a few things because I basically had to research for the stuff I put on the articles. I also learned how to cite my sources properly as these were academic papers. Again, this part-time job was at times tiring but it was ok since I get to earn during my free time instead of using the said free time playing online games. lol.
