Have you ever been in a really bad storm..such as a tornado, earthquake or other

Yes, I live in North Carolina in the USA and we have tornado's here although not like tornado alley in the midwest. There was a tornado that touched down less than a half mile from our home. Thank goodness we lived in a solid brick ranch type house tho it did sound horrific and we were hiding in the cedar closet for over an hour waiting to get the all clear. We lost our weather vane and part of the barn roof got blown off but we made it okay all things considered. I will never forget that the winds seem to come out of nowhere and the howling of the wind still haunts me from time to time during a bad storm.

yeah i think it was last year, the Storm Ondoy.. it was really scary... rain continue to fall.. wind is blowing very strong i even saw a roof flying.. and all the news is all about sufferings because of flood.. that is very tragic.. hope it will never be repeated again..
