Hi,
I was wondering how do i get a domain name?
Yea, im a newbie to this but lately i wanted to set up my own website so i wanted to get a domain for my website.
I mean like i went to godaddy and i search for a domain name and it was available and then i add to the cart. Then its was like about 13 dollars then i need to certify it and private registration it then i also add a email for my domain.
Then the total adds up to about $100 plus. :s
so i was wondering if getting a domain always cost that much?
And is it necessary to have the email for my domain?
I mean like if i get a web host wont they give me a inbox for my email too?
So can someone tell me the requirements to getting a domain?
And which other trust able site are there other than Godaddy or like cheaper site to get a cheaper domain name.
Thank You! :)

as you said that you are a newbie, I would venture to suggest you to go and get a free domain name. Search in the above search bar, for free domain names... and you will get many. Like dot co dot nr, OR dot cc, OR, more.
Also, you can get a free domain space, as a sub domain, in bravehost, and such other hundreds of FREE providers.
regarding emails, .. you can get them from the same bravehost sort of free providers...but, do not rush.
To host a website, for newbies, is really a head ache. I am telling you this, from PERSONAL experience.
so, goodluck with some FREE DOMAINS first. .. then, I will suggest you some cheap domain names...and service providers.
