People WANT TO make money ONLINE, but are AFRAID

Okay, earning money online is something that many people are getting accustomed to. Earning online is not very easy but at the same time, not very tough. Referrals are a good way to procure some good cash. A referral is like a Chest. There may be gold in it [ in the case of active referral] and there may be nothing in it at all [in the case of an inactive referral]. Referrals are also a good way to procure some good cash. Okay, other than advertising online and putting up banner ads and stuff like that to get some referrals for your money making program is a good way. Friends whom we know personally can also turn out to be active referrals. We can plead them to click the ads. In my case, that dumbo [my friend who is my referral in two sites] is dead lazy that I have to personally go to his house and click the ads from his computer. OMG - Money making is tough....... But wait, the problem does not end right there. I asked him to create a PayPal account with his PAN number. Well, he screamed - "I DO NOT GIVE MY PAN NUMBER T0 STRANGE SITES.... I do not want some site to know my personal details." But, I replied that I had done so and they do not do anything like that. I tries telling him that PayPal was a legitimate site and more of an online bank. But, he was still afraid and reluctant and he was not satisfied with my reply. I showed him many people using PayPal but he still refuses to join there and he gives a dummy PayPal ID in all the sites. Well, I still have no other choice than to go to his house daily because you see, even if he does not want the money, I can procure some from his clicks. But, convincing him according to me is far-fetched. What would you do if you were in my situation??

Sweetie, rather leave him be. You will only waste your time and get angry at something that is not really worth it. It is not easy to convince others. TATA.

Even though it is not easy to convince that fellow, I think I can gain atleast about 6-8 cents a day from him by going to his house and using his PC for 10 minutes.

For Indian members of PayPal, according to the new regulations by RBI, one has to give PayPal his/her PAN number while registering in PayPal. For getting verified, you need to verify your own credit/debit card. If you do not have a credit/debit card, verify your bank account.

Hello, This is a tricky situation because your saying your referral is a good friend. I personnally would stop spending so much time going to his/her house and doing the online work for them. It might be for the best to spend this time trying to attract a new referral who is willing to do the work themselves. I know it is extremely difficult to find referrals, especially active referrals but in the long run it may work out for the best. Not everyone is comfortable with opening online accounts, like Paypal, as they dont like or trust what they cant physically see ie. a bank. It's just one of those things. Have a happy day in myLot..

Well, I go to his house and we play on the PC almost everyday. Well it is hard to find a referral, but it is even harder to lose one when I can do things on my own.

Your right , you really dont want to lose a referral as it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack nowadays. Too many people have been conned with scams on the internet. At least we know myLot is certainly NO SCAM

myLot is never a scam. An active referral is too hard to find and those who have found one are really lucky.

Either your friend is totally skeptical about this or is totally not interested, lol. But there's a certain kind of humor there when you said that you have to go to his home and everything. For that, LOL. Some of my friends are skeptical too. They do not believe in such a thing as online earning, even if it means some coffee or gas money. It's not really a waste of time for me, because I'm able to do 2 things at one go. I hope you can convince your friend someday.

I don't blame him for having that reaction. It's really hard to fish a good referral. If I were in your situation I would tell him that he cannot earn money online if he doesn't take the risk and trust the people who would guide him through the whole experience. If he really doesn't want to then I would let him be. I'm not the type that would force someone into something

Woooooow man----i work online for money and to have some fun as well.I have so many friends who use internet to chat with friends and to download some movies and songs. They would never believe if i say that we can make money working online in various freelancer sites they would never care---they're my friends and i understand them so i never referred them to any of my online earning sites.I wouldnt love to force them into something they're not interested.Rather than blaming them you should look out for those people who are interested in earning online . great day.

Okies then you should have explained him about all these paypal stuff in advance---he must have asked you as how i would transfer my online earnings to his bank right.

I told him about PayPal and that is where the skepticism started ....

I did not force him into online earning. He wanted to earn and so I referred which is a natural human tendency. He was interested, so I had to tell him.

It seems that many people have fallen prey to many of the warnings in the media about fraud on-line and it is a shame that this has happened. Some people get so hypnotised by these warnings that they believe them to be gospel truth. The truth is that in all business there is an element of risk. There is risk even in going out and crossing the road! So we cannot live with risk. To make money on line (or off line for that matter) we are going to have to take risk. If we are not willing to take that risk, then we had better just resign ourselves to playing games on our computer and never ever giving out credit card or other personal details. _Derek

Yes, you are right. We can show them the way, we cannot walk the path for them. But there is some kind of risk involved in everything we do.

I was suprized the other day when I found out someone actually didn't know about paypal. Something new and different to people is scary. Some people just really don't want anything to do with the net. Sometimes I don't blame them.

Its not their mistake, you see. If I come and ask you your name and phone number, and if you are a girl, you tend to slap me. It was just like that. He was afraid to give his PAN number. But, if I am friends with you, and I ask your phone number, you will give it. Similarly, if he gets accustomed and sees my earning pages, he will give his PAN number.

How in the world did you convince him to join in the first place? Did you go to his house and join him up yourself? I understand what you're saying about how every little bit adds up (it really does) but how much time are you wasting on this guy? You are driving to his house every day and spending your gas for how much? Plus your time, so I'm asking you once you add all this up is it truly worth the effort? If I were you I'd just forget him. I don't think I've ever heard someone this desperate for a few cents. Focus on some of your other friends, show them your proofs and give them a chance to earn that this guy obviously does not want.

I guess because there were so many scams around, and there are many cheats around too, referrals that does are not active. if you have some good sites then perhaps we can try an exchange?
• India
16 May 10
Yes, interent money making sites have more scams than legit ones. Active referrals are very hard to procure. Exchanging sites - Hmmm.... Okay, no issues for me there.

HI kar~~I think it's reasonable that people do not trust thing online because there are too many treaters online most of who will steal people's personal information. The treaters then will send messages to them which makes people unpleasure. So I think you should leave them alone,it's not your fault,it's the fault of society and bad person.
• India
16 May 10
It is no one's fault. I found online money and I showed him. And, you see he was interested but lazy.

It is really very hard to convince a person when he really don't wanna believe, in short a close-minded person. I think you better stop with him, it's hopeless!

hi karthi as far as i am concerned jus leave him.. if you do for 6 cents or something when days go he may be frustrated and create a bad impression about you. dont do it you may loose your friend in future

No he does not care. We are great friends you see. He asks me about various money making programs and I have personally logged in to my PayPal account and shown him all my earnings.

We cannot forced them if they don't want to. They have a little knowledge about online earnings that is why they are afraid. Why us, we also have limited knowledge too but our difference too is we take risk. We try different things and we move out to uncomfortable zone. I have been scam many times before but I never stop looking for legitimate sites. And I am earning continously since there is Mylot.

Perhaps he is so rich he does not need the money. If I were in your shoes I would give up on him really. It's no use asking him but does not because he is not interested. If I were you go ask around some friends who are interested and willing to do so. I admit it's hard looking for referral. I have 3 referrals here in mylot but are so darn lazy and never posted anything at all.

if your friend does not want you can not convince him. maybe he just does not want to register and he is ashamed to tell you. maybe he does not feel comfortable to tell you this. because, I do not see anything else in all this. I mean, why should anyone, be so...there are people who does not want to do anything. I know cases too. they are happy to be who they are, get what they can, and that's it...
