i was watching one of my anime cd collection. its an old anime, but the story was really nice and i can really feel the thought of the story.
i was wondering why in this generation, most of the anime they made are more on technology, more on robots and everything that involves science. i want the old stuff, romance, simple school girl and doesn't involve technology, it gives more meaning to the story. what you think? :)

Actually, Japanese love the robot/mecha/sci-fic type of anime since a long time ago. Gundam is not a new type of aime. It started in 1979 and is still popular now.
I personally do not enjoy mecha/sci-fic/romance anime too. I prefer shonen/adventure/comedy/sports type of anime.
Romance anime are not exactly old stuff. There are still quite a number of new romance comedy anime like Kaichou wa Maid sama, Skip Beat, Nodame Cantabile and etc.

Hi pooghal, I'm also currently watching Kaichou wa Maid sama. And I also agree with you when you mentioned Nodame Cantabile and Skip Beat. I don't know if you already watch Itazura Na Kiss and Lovely Complex, I also love those two animes. Happy My Lotting!

I recently watched Gundam zero zero, which is of course about high technology where everything is solar powered. And I feel that something is missing, maybe because I'm also looking for the traditional love story that gives you those excitement and giggles.
I can recommend few anime such as Itazura Na Kiss. It is the anime version of the television series "It started With A Kiss". This anime really made me cry and happy both at the same time haha. I'm currently watching Kaichou wa Maid sama which is still ongoing. Nodame Cantabile is also fun as well as Skip beat and Lovely Complex.

I guess it's because nowadays, people are more interested in modern technology such as robotics, extraterrestrial life, and all those scientific stuff. To get the people's attention, writers have to follow to trend or else no one will be reading their comics. But like you, I also missed the good old times.
