Celebrity causes-

Dear Dharam, - I hate to say this, but I think it unlikely that most celebrities have even heard of Dengue fever. Therefore it is even more unlikely that they will ever lend their face to any publicity event relating to it. Unfortunately, most celebrities are orientated to diseases that affect those in the Western world, such as AIDS which because of its mode of transmission is of course a worldwide disease. Dengue can only be caught in tropical areas,where these celebrities do not live and do not have friends. Sometimes they will of course do 'their good deed' and go to these areas and maybe even adopt children from that area, but they do not live there and are probably not really interested unless the disease affects them directly. It sad but it is a reflection of the superficial way in which a large number of people (including celebrities) live their lives.
