Beach Person or Mountain Person

I live close to the beach, but the weather in my country is quite cold, and even during the summer months the water is cold compared many other countries. I go swimming in my own country, but it is a different experience to go the beach in a country with a hot climate. I like to swim and spend time at the beach every once in a while, but I don't like to spend my entire holiday at the beach. I prefer to visit sights, museums and other kinds of places. I also like to visit places with mountains, as I am from a country where there are very few mountains.

I am both a mountain and beach person. I am so blessed to have lived in a place by the beach and the mountain is just a walking distance (for us who are used to long walks). Now that I am living in the city, I have missed both and I am dying to do hiking and swimming as well.

I like both, but usually I enjoy the mountains and fall type weather more than the beach. I would never confine myself to either one though. It also depends what season I am visiting during.

I have live near mountains and the beach as well. If i would have to choose only one of these, I would definitely pick the mountains. There is no greater beauty or strength than that of a grand and majestic mountain peak.

As it's warmer here where we live now, I love going back to where it's a little cooler. Europe would probably be too cold for me. But just the highlands in this part of the world would be good enough. And that would be a refreshing change.

I live in s cool country and I adore tropical places in the world. I have cold weather for most of the year so there so I wish to visit hot destinations when I go traveling. For example I have been to places like the Seychelles, the Maldives and Belize. Now I have a disabled toddler son I have to visit places that are suitable for him. Last year I took him to Cape Town and the Garden Route. It was summer in South Africa at that time. This year I will be going to Canada with my toddler son and baby daughter. We will be flying to Vancouver. In the past I have been up three different mountains. I wouldn't be able to push my son's buggy up a mountain. I long to be able to go to a tropical beach. Right now I wish I could go off island hopping and snorkeling in the Philippines. It has some very beautiful palm fringed beaches there.

hmmm... I love the beach and the mountains. I love going hiking on the mountains I live close to, but they are in a warm climate and we can go swimming up there. I have never been to any other mountians but as long as its not too cold I think I would enjoy it. On the other hand I love love love the ocean and fish and all that good stuff, so of course I love the beach. I just like being outdoors!

i am definitely a beach person! i also like mountains but i prefer beaches. the sound of waves makes you relax and there are fewer bugs at the beach. summer is coming soon! i can't wait!

I used to going for active vacation but now I just choose beach vacations. It is because my husband is lazy person :) so I going where he want. Now we have also baby so it will by difficult go for active vacation. We choose hotter climate but I don' t like to sunbathe but again it is LOVE I can do everything for my love husband
