I really like this quote... 'As it harm no one' means that you could do anything you like as no one harmed, including youself So to be said, you cannot steal, cheat, or do bad things as it harm someone

I follow this Rede to the best of my ability! An it Harm None....I take harm referring to in any way to anything or person. You do not want to harm yourself or others physically, emotionally, financially, etc. But also, you do not want to harm nature or the world surrounding you either. This helps to keep a non-abusive view to this beautiful world and all the beings in it. Including the forrest that has not only living animals but living plants. The reason I throw plants into the mixture is because it is Harm None. I teach my children that even plants cry a sound so low that they can not hear it when you hurt it. Now, it is different when you are pruning a plant because you are helping it to be stronger....I tell my children it is like a haircut. I even talk to the plant apologizing that if I cause it pain, it is only with the intention of helping. This teaches my children to be respectful of nature just as they would be respectful to people. Harm None has such a powerful meaning!

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law for Love is the Law, Love under will. This is actually a continuation of the golden rule of "Do onto others as you would have done onto you" The witches throughout history have been given a bad rap but if people would actually learn and understand the wiccan rede they would realize that it is a great religon, full of love and compassion.

received meaning basically that he wrote it but it was basically dictated to him by a messanger of Horus named Aiwass....Crowley was a facinating man..I have a book about him along with writings about him in collection books...He is definately someone I'd want to meet and chat with if I could..right after hamming it up with Marquis De Sade :-)

I'm not wiccan so I dont follow the rede though it is nice....that doesnt mean though that I am careless in what I do by any means...I always think things through before making a decision and that goes for my spiritual life, spellwork etc etc BUT i am all to aware that sometimes in life "an harm none" just doesnt apply...If someone for example does harm to my kids, I'm taking care of what needs to be taken care of..I'm careful in how I go about it and never do it in the heat of anger but if I need to direct somethign at someone I will and have in the past
