Does anyone know what is going to happen to Shaq or where he is going next? The Cavaliers have smashed his dream of getting closer to the eleven titles he wants for his recimen. Is there any hope of him coming back to the Lakers for another run at a title? Will the Lakers accept him back?

The Lakers does not need SHAQ. Accepting SHAQ is a punch to their face. because SHAQ is the one who decided to be traded to the Heat last year 2005. For me, I would recommend that SHAQ retire if the LAKERS won the title once again. why? because he is useless now. :) hahaha.

I think if Shaq really wants a ring he should swallow his pride take a reduced salary and go back and play for the Miami Heat. With currently three all stars at small forward, power forward and shooting guard Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade on the roster the heat would have four all stars in the starting lineup. Shaq playing center wouldn't have to do a lot to carry the team still contribute and win a championship. But that's a stretch considering how much he made the previous year who knows that sure would be interesting.

I think Kobe has put the animosity toward the Big fella away. Shaq would probably be welcomed back with opened arms, and be a very useful backup center. He would mentor Big Bynum, and teach him how to man handle people under the basket.
As long as Shaq doesn't release another album, and throw verbal jabs at Phil, he's set to return to LA. I hope he does go back too. The league won't be the same after he retires. Shaq is very good for the NBA, and I hope he stays around the game in some form. Shaq and Barkley should do play by play, as a team.

The animosity between Kobe and Shaq is not the only issue. Shaq also has an animosity toward Dr. Buss. And unless he apologize to the owner I do not envision him in a Laker uniform in the near future. Moreover, I do not see Shaq playing second fiddle to Kobe on a Laker team. His ego is much more larger than his size 22 shoes.

I honestly could see him going back and teaming up with Kobe and company for another title. The reason I can see him going back is him and Gasol would be a great center tandem with Bynum at the Power. The other team I could see him going to would be the same team that LeBron goes to. Who know's at the moment because with Chris Bosh & Dirk Nowitzki out there both are great big men and both are younger than Shaq. So it might take him alittle time to sign.

If given the opportunity, Shaq would be best fitted to join the LA Lakers. I think he can improve the abilities of Bynum by teaching him the lessons and the moves of a great center.
