Most viable way of getting referrals?

I've posted a video on youtube: advertising Mylot and then referring viewers here. Not much success... 9 people have watched the video and I've gotten no referrals. I know there are probably some dead discussions that I can search up that would give me the information I'm seeking but I want the information up front. Please don't tell me to refer friends and family members because I've already tried that. Btw , I got 30 Cents for answering stuff yesterday. I jumped from a 4 star rating to 8 star rating as well. I've got 2 discussions with 20 responses . So how do you think I'm doing?
