The little mermaid, beauty and the beast, Aladdin, sleeping beauty, and other more classically made animated Disney films they dont make em like that anymore.
I mean there's just something about those films that is hard to duplicated in the newer films I have yet to see new Disney animated feature that has the same level of class and animation quality as the ones I just posted about, I guess its because they dont use the same methods as they use to or have the same level of script writing or maybe they do and I'm just not feeling it.
Oh I'm not saying they haven't come close but still not quite the same in my opinion, HEY! maybe they should do rapunzel, or a slightly new take on little red riding hood using the same story and animation quality that they use to.

Have you seen "Princess and the Frog" yet? I thought it was just as good as all the Disney classics.
And by the way, an adaptation of Rapunzel has been in the works for awhile now... though I've heard rumors they're changing the name to "Tangle". Other than that, the Disney Pixar films have been really good. I haven't liked much of their other stuff recently other than "Princess and the Frog" and the Pixar films.

I haven't seen the princess and the frog yet I'll probably see it on the Disney channel or DVD it looks pretty good, and I've seen many of the pixar films some are really good and others not so much.
As for that rapunzel thing I had no idea that they were already working on it, thanks for that little tidbit of info, and thanks for stopping in to this little topic looking forward to checking out that new film.

Well when you get the chance, you should see it. I loved it and I thought it was the best disney animated film in a long time.
I've been following the news about Rapunzel for awhile. I'm really excited for it, especially since I liked princess and the frog so much.

Well said, story is same, but animation quality can make different to the movie that makes it away from duplicating.

Heh... I re-viewed The Little Mermaid only about 2 weeks ago. I now know that I felt the need to see some old school movie making. Movies back then were simple, some may say, but they had feeling poured in them. You can sense how much of his heart a director places into his creation by watching it, and feeling what the characters feel. A movie that alters your state of mind and heart in that way is a good movie in my opinion.
See you around. :)
