Can a Christian Wife and Mother also be a Successful Business Woman?

That's the same point I was going to make. The Proverbs 31 woman not only took care of her family, she was a business woman. She is the role model for many Christian women.

Congratulation on your new addition to your family. There is no "how to" guide on raising a child. It is a huge responsibility. As a mother, you will have to divide your attention between your family and working outside of the home. My questions, however was leaning toward woman entrepreneurs. Running your own business require more times than working for a company. As an employee, your work is done once your shift has ended. As an employer, your work is never done. It is just on temporarily hold. Any emergencies, problems, crisis and forseen matters are your responsibilities. Adding a family unit to these equations along with God's expectation of a Christian mother and wife can be a real challenge. Some problems you will encounter may require long-distance travel and time away from your husband and the new baby. I guess my question is, will your Christian husband and father take the role of a "house husband" for better lack of terms temporarily. Or will he remind you that your first obligation is your home.
