My email address' inbox has almost thousands of emails and sometimes I one by one it to be deleted....

I regularly clean and keep my inbox updated.Firstly,I remove all the unwanted e-mail by marking it spam thus reducing the clutter.I remove some mails I think important after reading.I keep some emails that contain important information in separate folder.I segregate my personal emails from friends and family members.I keep some mails they indicate to me where I'm a registered member. I made it a habit to keep or review my email box almost on a daily basis. No problems with inbox, whatsoever.

I always check my inbox and make sure will read and delete mails that is already read. Most of my mails are composed of newsletter and articles from different blogs. Notifications from mylot and other sites. I always configure sites I joined what to send in my mail so that unnecessary notifications are not delivered in my mail.

You can restrict what gets in and you can set preferences at sites like this one to not send you so much mail. If you are on a lot of mailing lists for newsletters and such you can create an alternate email address.
