So NBC already cancelled a few shows and I have to say that I am disappointed that they cancelled the show Mercy. I think that it was unlike any other medical show out there and It was so good! Now that it's cancelled we are not going to get the closure we want in regards to the last episode. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone but I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. It's just sad that these networks are always cancelling great shows like these. I really wish they would have given it another chance or something. I know that it has to do with the number of viewers that the show pulls in but this was a really good show! Does anyone watch Mercy? What did you guys think of the last episode? Are you sad that it's cancelled?

They never gave Mercy a chance. It was a good show and they put it in a bad time slot to begin with. Then they started switching the time around from one week to the next. They are always doing that. They get a great show and put it on versus a well established great show and then cancel it because it dose not have the ratings they want. So many good shows have been wasted that way by all the networks and NBC is just about the worst in doing.

Yeah I totally agree with you. They never gave it a chance. They think that they know what the viewers want but they really have no clue. The changing of the time slots also affected Ugly Betty and that's what it was unfortunately cancelled. These networks are just awful when it comes to new shows coming in.

NBC cancelled a ton of shows for the coming season- even Law and Order. With all the Leno-Conan stuff, too it makes you wonder whats up with NBC. I was not a fan of Mercy. I'm not really into drama shows, but I caught one episode. I wasn't that impressed...I thought the dialogue was pretty cheesy. w

Yeah when I first saw it I thought that it was kind of cheesy but then I decided to give it a chance. I alway give shows a chance by watching the first three episode. By the third episode I knew that I was going to keep watching because it was growing on me. Halfway through the season it started to get even better. NBC did cancel a lot of shows, like Heroes as well, they just better have some good shows for the new Fall season or they are going to lose a lot of viewers.

NBC's other new medical show Trauma was canceled too. What makes me wonder is that NBC, despite canceling those two shows, still ordered a fall show about medical personnel for next season. I doubt it does any better than Mercy or Trauma did. Halfway through the season I thought Mercy might get picked up since it was doing better than Trauma. I'm sorry you have seen the last of it. It is disappointing when our favorite shows gets canceled, and we don't have any closure to the stories.

Yeah I really thought that they were going to pick up Mercy. It was a good show with good stories and awesome actors. That cliffhanger was just too much for me. I really wanted to know what happened next. I heard about a medical show for the new fall season but I'm not sure if I heard it was going to be on NBC or some other channel. I guess I'm just going to have to wait until September rolls around to find out.

hi ayumitakashi I did not get to see Mercy but others here told me it was a great medical show. I love really good medical 'shows that are more lifelike, I hated one series a few years back that was a silly spoof on what really goes on in a hospital. It was not even really funny either, a lot of canned laughter but not much real humor in it. Certainly did not appeal to a person who has worked in a hospital and knows what goes on in real life. My friends here all said that they were surprised it was canceled. So it must have been a really fine show.

It's a shame that such a great show was cancelled. Are you talking about Scrubs? I think that's the one your talking about where it takes place in a hospital and it has jokes and stuff. Mercy was a unique show and I really wished that they would have given it another chance. Happy Mylotting!
