This week i am going to try to plan better as i have got to fit soo much in and there are things that i have wanted to sort out but have not got around to them.Tuesday has been planned so that i get to spend a bit of time with my oldest daughter. So seems Tuesday has been booked tomorrow is when i have to sort the bedrooms out aswell as a few draws. The rest of the week i want to try to earn as much money as i can on the internet and at the weekend i have got company.Whats the betting something will mess up my plans again.

Try sitting down today and making a list of 10 things you want to accomplish this week. If you do at least 6 of them, then that is 60% of what you wanted done done, and would be an accomplishment even if you don't get to complete all your plans.

I am going to try to get as much done as possible as i have to get more organised aswell as i want to change a few rooms around in the house.I think that trying to fit everything in what i want todo is going to be impossible so like you say if i do half then that would be really great and 60% would be a bonus.

but of course! nothing will happen for weeks when nothing is planned, but just as soon as you plan something, along comes a dozen other things to do!

I find that aswell.I tend to start doing one job on my list only to find loads more todo whilst i am doing that job.I think that with having a big family aswell as trying to keep up with them aswell as the house and the garden is hard enough and then there are the other things like trying to earn money on the internet.

Isn't it a shame how life always gets in the way of our plans?

I hope that nothing is going to stop me when i get started as i am going to keep going until i have done all the things that i need to do as that way when they are done i do not have to do them again in a hurry so i have a weekend with not alot todo then aswell as less moaning from people here in the house.

Great idea about getting your house in order, but how are you going to earn extra money on the internet? I'm very interested in that. We my lotters have to stick together.

If I have a lot I want to get done it always helps if I make a list. I will do thing I really don't want to do just so I can cross it off. Something always comes up that screws up your plans. I think that is just part of making plans.

I am going to write a list tomorrow of all the things i want to get sorted aswell as i intend to fill two black bags up of rubbish aswell and i am even going to look in the garden for the rubbish aswell.I hate the thought of odd socks so i have a friend that will sort them out for me, so that is a job for her.

I'd bet that by the end of the week and you look back, few, if any, of your plans will be carried out as planned. That's how my week goes anyway. I plan all kinds of things but they rarily happen as planned, unless of course, it's golf.

I think that you are right, but this week i am going to try soo hard to do alot of things that i have wanted to get sorted as that way i do not just sit thinking i can not be bothered.I have been not well and things have got soo far behind that if i do not do them now then i will never get them done.

Plan a few things...don't overdo. Then you'll feel like you accomplished something. Then next week, plan some more and execute...

I try to always plan out my weeks. I usually know what I have going on my work schedule doesn't change which is really nice. Some times I have to work extra days but I'm usually able to fit them right in. My typical week looks like this: Sunday: Monday: Tuesday: 6am wake up 7am drop daughter at babysitters 730am be at work 6pm get out of work 630 pick daughter up 700 get home 730 dinner 800 bath time 830 bed time for little one 10 bed time for me and hubby Wednesday: 8am wake up 10am playdate at a friends 2pm getting home rest of the day cleaning, laundry cooking a good dinner Thursday: 8am wake up 10am run any errons home finish up laundry cook dinner Friday: 8am wake up 10am library 11am grandmas house home after that to do what ever needs to be finished Saturday: 930am dance class afternoon family time evening good dinner and movie or out to dinner The last couple weeks I have been dealing with: Contractors for my grandmothers house almost every day. Her house flooded and a lot is being replaced. My moms moving so we have been trying to go through stuff, move it, donate it, and so on. I have been working extra days too. This week 2 extra days so far maybe more! My daughters dance recital was last week so the 2 weeks before we had all kinds of extra classes, photo shoots and so on. Needless to say I have a pretty busy schedule and have to keep on top of it!

hi jugsjugs when I read that last sentence it made me think of an old quotation The saddest words penned by men, are it might have been. I know so many times I try to plan out what I want to do in a week, and something always screws up my plans,And I have only myself to care about, not a large family, so whats my excuse? life I guess, and unexpected things.Oh and of course mylotting too, as I do spend a lot of time here as I have more free time than most people here.

Well i will agree with you there that no matter what i plan it always gets screwed up.I have just had a friend tell me that she is also going to pop to see me on Tuesday aswell, but that is great as she is late paying me for her club money so really that is a bonus.I think mylot also takes up my evening, but thats ok as i need abit of me time.Hope all is well with you.

I try to do as I go, if I don't have any other plans that are coming up for the upcoming weekend. I have another busy week as usual. Here I go back to be tired and worn out. I would love to have a serious break.

I know what you are saying aswell as i know what you mean by getting tired out aswell.I am going to try as hard as i can as there are lots of things that i want to sort out in the house aswell as there are lots of other things that i need to do to make abit of money at the same time.No doubt there will be a few things that i will not get to do so they will be on next weeks hit list again.

I hope your plans are going good this week, and that your getting everything done. I don't like to make plans because something will always come up and get me all sidetracked. I just go with the flow around here, I never know what's going to happen next..lol.

I personally do plan everything out but I plan it in such a way that I intend to complete everything with a couple of days left in the week. Keeping in mind that the unexpected could happen. Therefore, I can have those extra days open to get other things down. Trust me, the unexpected will happen and at the worst possible times. Making out a plan will help soften the blows for most of this. When I do not plan out the week like this, I find myself struggling to get everything done. I find myself to be quite overwhelmed. Being overwhelmed in such a manner leads to a lot of stress. Stress leads to me not being as productive as I would have liked to be. In the end, it is an extremely vicious cycle that is not good. Still there is always a chance that everything will get messed up. It rarely fails.

Yes, plans are something we often cannot live with OR without. As a famous poet once wrote "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry!" ("gang aft agley" actually...same thing)

It reminds me of the words John Lennon said,"Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans". It is annoying but it tends to happen! Sometimes I wonder if it is worth making plans in the first place! I still plan my days but I keep in mind that anything could happen to change the course of events so I don’t get too upset at the unexpected phone call, visitor or heaven forbid major disaster!

I see your week is so full and booked. Did you forget to set a little time aside for yourself? I think you need to do that too for health and peace of mind. :)

You already got a full of hands right now. Relax, don't take this obligation too hard for you. You will just stress out. When you already set the plans, then just get over it. But remember to be flexible, plans don't always go accordingly.
