If you're into fashion even the slightest, I'm sure you heard some words before- they're mostly french, but not all.
What "fashion words" (or phrases) have you heard before?
I've heard;
-chic: fashionable, trendy
-noir: dark, edgy
-macabre: dark, gothic
-couture: high fashion
-haute couture: ...really high fashion?
-haus (as in "Haus of Gaga"): collection or designer
-fierce: captivating look by a model, or statement-making outfit

Hi- As the owner of a vintage clothing store and high end current clothing consignent store- I have heard all kinds of names for fashion. Anything from fashion forward to swanky. Boho- chic is really popular now especially with the look of the Olsen twins and Sienna Miller. Check out my website at www.circavintageshoppe.com
