Me and my sister had a good laugh about our childhood today. Both of us remembered our imaginary friends. My friends name was Charlotte. A very nasty and naughty litte girl. Always got me into trouble. Do you remember your imaginary friend? And if so, who were blamed when you got into trouble?

No! I was not that lucky or imaginary to have that feeling. So I don't remember any imaginary friends. When I was a little grown up (teenager) I used to dream about my girl classmates (don't ask me in detail). That was the imagination done with real existing classmates. But an imaginary friend. No way! And I don't remember whether I got troubled with my family members. Yes, fallen in trouble, but out of family circle.

Phantom and his wife Diana and his pet yeti & family, Tarzan, Mickey Mouse, Fairies, Dolphins, Angels, Beautiful Girls and many many wild animals were my childhood imaginary friends, most of the times I used to do adventurous things with them and both of us used to get into trouble at the same time, but never used to trouble each other. ha????

I have none, but i have many real friends during my childhood... and they always got me into real trouble... hahahaha... the memories were still very vivid on my memory, i guess i could not tell the story here, not really that appropriate as you are mainly talking about imaginary friends, but if you permit me, then I'll tell, it's really funny!

I never had one that I actually believed in when I was little. But in High School a group of my friends made up imaginary friends, and their voices and stories about them and so on. Mine was Russell the troll. I can still do the voice...

not all everything publicly but one incidents i can share... i was perhaps 13 then and was reading in six. there was a pretty girl in my class and other classmates provoked me as saying that she is able to be my girl friend. actually i had no feelings then but by dint of their stupidity i asked her what is going with us and in reply she said that she has no feelings for me. it made me angry and i holded her in my arms and brought to a river island. then i left her alone on that island and she cried a lot. next day the teacher beat me for my naughty task. hahaha..

I never ever had an imaginary friend! Me and my sister did play a lot of make believe games when we were younger (we would be horses, or dragons...make up little stories with our toys...lots of different activities!) I also liked to play school (I was the teacher, sis the student) whenever I could talk my sister into it--she hated playing school! lol But, to my knowledge, neither of us had imaginary friends.

LOL! I had forgotten my childhood imaginary friend until you posted this. I was an only child for a long time. (I am 10 years older than my middle sister and 23 years older than my youngest sister). I had to have an imaginary friend or there would have been no one for me to play with. My imaginary friends name was Ping Pong. I don't know where I come up with that idea but when ever I was scared I relied on Ping Pong to keep me company. The last time I remember talking to him was in Kindergarten. I was using the class bathroom and my teacher heard me talking to myself. She asked me who I was talking when I come out of the bathroom and I told her no one. I was kind of embarrassed about it. That is the last time I talked to him. I never blamed him for any trouble because I was very shy and I never got into any trouble.

That brought back good memories. Thank you for the best reply and you need to tell us more about this Charlotte. What sort of trouble did she manage to get you into. I was never alone as long as I had Ping Pong. I still do not know where I got that name from though. I guess I need to ask my mama and see. My parents come to eat dinner with us yesterday and we were discussing all of the things I did when I was younger and the things that the little ones are doing now and comparing them. I was certainly embarrassed by some of the things they remembered and told my oldest kids. Thank you for the memories.

I had two imaginary friends when I was a child. One of them was a girl called called Trine. I was an only child at that time, I missed having a sister or brother, so I played with Trine instead. We also had fun, and in our games it was her birthday - every day My other imaginary friend was called Bactus and he was a character from a book that I had read. One time my father and I were in the car and I suddenly told my father: "We forgot Bactus we have to drive back and pick him up", "No way" my father said "Bactus isn't real, of course we are not going back". Me: "But dad, Bactus is all alone and he is scared, we have to go back" My father: "No! forget it" but I kept on begging my father to go back, and eventually he got tired of listening to me, so he turned the car around and went back to the place where I claimed that bactus was. I told my father to open the door so that Bactus could get into the car, and he reluctantly agreed. He opened the door and said: "Alright Bactus, get in the car" The other people were just staring at my father, they probably thought that he was crazy

unfortunately, i can't remember it. Though i remember my mother and relatives share this story when i was around 4-7 years of age, in our old two-storey house (or more likely, 1-storey with a mezzanine).. They were in the kitchen/dining room on the first floor while i was in our room playing with my toys. They were hearing me talking to someone in our room while playing, but i was the only one there. Then this freaking flying cockroach came and chased my down the "hallway" all the way to the stairs. Good thing my mother came rushing towards the stairs too because i jumped a flight of stairs just to get away from that flying cockroach.

I don't seem to remembver mine very well but I remember when my daughter was little and she had one. She was a very good little girl but when there was something she wanted but we said no she would say it's not just for her but her friend bob wanted it too. When I asked her who bob was she said it was her friend that was standing right next to her. Of course there was no one there but I wouldn't tell her that because she was so adament that he was real. Needless to say she won alot of arguments like this.

I had an imaginary friend when my mom was preganant with my brother. I blamed everything on my imaginary friend, I wasn't quite 2 when he came and he was gone just after turning 3. I named him Dupidy (do-puh-dee), i have no idea how to spell it, lol. I don't personally remember, but I remember the stories that my mom would tell me about him. I got in a lot of trouble during that time, my mom said but she said she couldn't help but laugh too. Happy Mylotting!!!

I can`t remember the time when i had an imaginary friend, because i haven`t. I didn`t even knowed that exists something like that. I`ve seen on cartoons, on cartoonnetwork on Foster`s that there are imaginary friends... even if that was in cartoons, i`ve searched the internet and i saw that there are a lot of kids that have an imaginary friend. I didn`t had one, maybe because i had a brother .

Come to think of it, I think I never had an imaginary friend. Was watching a cartoon show with my kids where the story revolves on imaginary friends. I was saying to myself "Are they for real? Can they happen to children?" After reading the posts here, it led me to believe that a lot of people had imaginary friend. Maybe I did have one but was to young to even remember.
