The myth is that chocolate is bad for you, but today's 'Fabulous' News is that Chocolate helps your heart. Of course, they don't give much away - apparently, it is based on the finding that 7.5g of dark chocolate [that is just ONE square] a day reduces the risk of having a heart attack by 27% and a stroke by 48%. So says the German Institute of Human Nutrition. They report that it is all due to health-boosting pigments in chocolate and other foods called flavonoids. Experts at Imperial College, London, also found that chocolate could help with liver problems by reducing blood pressure in the liver.
Now where's did I put that bag of flavonoids ?

Everything is good or bad in moderation. The moderation is the key. It's true that chocolate, especially dark chocolate, can help heart conditions. However, no doctor or health educator will recommend people to eat it by the pounds. This will only impact your waist line!

Chocolate isn't really bad for anyone- I think, the concern is the amount of chocolate that people eat...It's always bad to eat more than what you need. So I suggest that people eat chocolate maybe once or twice in a week..but just a few..
