Are U concerned about the BIG OIL SPILL????!!!

United States

So, today it was announced that scientists found some gushing oil just under the surface of the Gulf of Mexico's waters. Well folks, I live in Florida, that's pretty darn close. I have some salmon and shrimp in my freezer that were bought before this tragic ecological disaster that happened, just weeks after China decided to take a DETOUR THROUGH THE GREAT BARRIER REEF?!! Are you concerned about eating shellfish or fish in general after all this oil that was spilt, and STILL continues to be spilt??? I am not going to eat any fish now after what's gone from my freezer. What about you???

Probably will in a few months form now. I cant explain it but I have and awful feeling that this well was sabotaged. AS there are people that would wish that we cant drill for our own oil! some want us dependant on other countries for our oil.

Wow...ok I'm kinda speechless. Did this come to you in a vision or psychic impression? Who do you think did it? That's a very interesting conspiracy theory.

I meant to share this story with you yesterday. It happened just an hour after I responded to your theory. And the plot thickens.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100517/us_nm/us_refinery_operation_lyondell_pasadena

I dont eat anything that lives/lived in water. I grew up on Lake Huron and saw some pretty scary stuff coming out of the water. This will not affect what or how I eat. It is a shame though for the many millions that do. I feel for the fishermen too.

the chemicals that were pumped in, you would get three eyed trout, fish with ulcers covering it.... no sea monsters that I saw but maybe..

Yes, I am concerned. Not about what I'm eating. I'm pretty sure what comes across my plate will have been inspected. And I wouldn't get any of it from a less than trustworthy source. However, I don't often eat fish, so it is probably more of a concern for people who regularly have shellfish in their diet. I am just disgusted by what the spill has done, and how people keep pointing fingers. Can no one take responsibility? Or better yet, figure out how the cr*p this can keep from happening again?

What will happen to the area when hurricane season starts? It'll be one disaster after another. Pray it doesn't happen.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100517/us_nm/us_refinery_operation_lyondell_pasadena check out this link. Lakota feels that the oil rig explosion was a sabotage to keep us from being self-reliant in our production and having to "buy in" to arab nations for our supply. This link I found just hours after she mentioned this. In fact, it happened hours after she mentioned it. Kinda freaky.

oh yes there is much concern for all in USA, see it directly impacts all in prices, the eco system and of course gas prices as well. How irresponsible of them to miss handle such resources, now they opt to point the fingers at each other.
