I got a son, his two. I gave birth through CS procedure, however I underwent to more or less 12 hours of labor. It was tremendous!! I was sent to the delivery table three times but my baby seem sleeping inside my womb. I was injected with a vile for contraction, yet nothing. My opening was inserted with a "thing" which I don't know but one doctor on my side said it's for contraction again. Still nothing. Then three doctors tried to assist by pushing my womb through while I'm having a 10 seconds counted breathing. Then, they let my signed a paper for CS procedure. Giving birth was not easy for me. I thought I'll be okay since my stats since then were okay. These days, it makes me think to have a baby girl after 2 years but there is fear in me. Hello mothers...I'd like to hear your story and advises....What do you think should i do?

It's totally up to you! Though once you have a c-sect odds are you will have another c-sect. How did you tolerate recovering from the c=sect? I had long labors with all my kids. My longest labor was almost 3 days, my water and plug were still intact for that long or atleast until I went to the hossy parking lot and lost all my water in the lot as I got out of our van. And my son was breach so I didn't have a choice but a c-section with him. Sadly he was vertex just 4 days earlier & I also had a failed induction under my belt with him. I have two natural deliveries with my girls both labors were 24hrs + and I had an epidural with both... however I moved around too much with my oldest and the needle moved and I felt every inch of my labor except my left leg *sigh* My best delivery was with my 2nd child, other than the usual slow to dialate her delivery was perfect! It's up to you every pregnancy and delivery is diffrent. Good Luck with what you decide! And if it's any help go see your Dr and talk things over with him/her as well.

whew! you have great stories of pregnancy..It makes me feel nervous and excited...heheh lolz! I also had induction before my doctor decided to have CS section. I would say it's pretty easy for me to recover from cs but not from loosing weight. =)I could recall how hard to strive labor pains. That's how wonderful being a mom, isn't it?

Ej, I had two via CS. Both girls have grown now and are doing extraordinarily well in college. Your second baby definitely will come out to this world via cs, too. If your ob-gyne says otherwise, consult another one. In the meantime, treat yourself like a queen. My doctor advised me to eat whatever I like on the second pregnancy because there will be no difficult labor anymore. So my giels weighed 8.9 and 10.6 lbs upon birth. They are worth all the weight, ha ha! Take your vitamins religiously. That is for the good of the baby. Congratulations, dear young mom!

Pregnant woman - It is the most wonderful thing when woman gives birth to a little life called the baby.
I think to give birth to a baby is simply a wonderful boon. Have you imagine how we forget all the pain once the baby is in our arms; it's just because you have given a life, a birth to a gorgeous baby. So if you are ready then go for it. Maybe this time you will not be undergoing these complicated issues again.

My wife just gave birth to our third daughter. She delivered in a laying in clinic. I wish it was a boy, but still its a girl. Then we decided that three children is enough. So my wife had a ligation. What I was trying to point out is go ask your husband. Well think it should be him that you should as the first opinion and we will be the second opinion.. :)

Isn't it that once you had a C-section, you more than likely will have your second baby with a C-section as well? At least that's what I heard from other mom's.. I have two children, both were born "naturally". With my first daughter I had an epidural and could not really feel anything.. the labor pain before that was really not too bad.. with my second daughter, she was born so quickly, there was no choice for any pain medication. The pain was pretty bad but she came out after about 30 minutes of hard labor pain, so that was quick and the pain was fast forgotten :)

I heard it too. So that makes me more terrified. But others said, if there will be more than a year gap there would be possibility that I'll have a normal delivery the next time around. I hope so...lolz!

You poor thing! You did have a bad labour, but there is no reason to think that another birth would be the same, or your doctor might decide to give you a CS in the first place. There is only you though that can make that choice, good luck what ever you decide

This time won't be nearly as bad. They will set a date and plan the CS. It takes a lot of the trouble out of the birth process. It will be a lot easier knowing what's going on too!

More than anything, you should follow your heart. If you would really like to have another child, then you should go for it or you might feel regret for the rest of your life. You will hear people say that no two pregnancies are the same and that no two labor experiences are the same and they are absolutely correct. I have two children, a daughter that is seven years old and a son that is three years old. My daughter was unexpectedly born premature and then when I was pregnant with my son I suspected it would happen again, however, I ended up having to have an induction with him because he just didn't want to come out.

Hi Ej, I gave birth through cs procedure as well, like you I undergo labor pains, and ended having CS procedure. I don't think it's gonna be a problem if you wanted to be pregnant again. Since, you underwent a CS procedure before more likely you will have another baby born in this procedure. But, does it matter? What matter's is the joy and being able to give life to a precious gift from up above. Why second thought? you go girl!:D
