Do you want to travel but you can't afford it?

Among the various reasons why i chose becoming a scuba instructor,travelling ranks highly as one of them, because i can travel to many places as freelancing dive instructor,and earn some money on the side to finance my travels.exotic destinations like the maldives , egypt's red sea, the many islands of thailand,indonesia etc. anywhere where scuba diving is a popular activity,there is always a need for freelancers to help teach n certify students,since i am affiliated to an international scuba diving certification agency,enables me to teach n certify anywhere in the world,if i rely on own money or savings,doubt i wud have been able to go to half the places i have been,perks of my chosen profession is being able to earn money while doing what i love to do,scuba diving, as i travel.island hopping

I truly wish I could afford this. :( I used to work until a year and 3 months ago, then this crisis came along and basically destroyed me. I have a college to pay, food to buy, rent and many other necessities any student has. The problem is, I have NO job. After I finish college, I'll focus on finding one, then me and my girlfriend will go everywhere we ever wanted to go, and that's a promise I'm making to her because I love her so much. :)

I don't like to travel because it's just a waste of time.

if money was not an issue i would be travelling a lot, especially to places of historical interests. i would like to travel to europe again someday, mostly in the UK to check out stonehenge, etc. south america too and egypt for the ancient sites. of course, i would like to travel within my country too especially in the visayas region!

I'm not sure I want to travel. I live in New York and see alot of people come visit here. Now I'm just feeling "whats so great about New York" If everyone is visiting New York why do I want to go elsewhere.

Once I have writen down all the places I want to go on small pieces of paper and put them in a bottle.I have a world map in my notebook and circle the places i want to visit.Travel around the world is a dream of mine.So far I have never been abroad .So now I want to study hard and wish that I could have the opportunity to study abroad.

Since I was a young child I dreamed about traveling. I was able to go to Greece when I was 14 years old. To do that I saved up money from my paper round. At age 18 years old I got a job in Finland as a children's nanny. I was able to save enough money through doing that I travel around Europe by train. I was lucky to be able to buy a cottage when I was 19 years old with some money left in me in my Great Aunt's will. I let it out to travel around the world when I was 20 years old. I got a working holiday visa to be able to do that trip. When I was 29 years old I traveled to New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands. I came home poor after that pricey trip. So my next trip was a cheap flight to Italy and a bus down to Croatia. Traveling is possible with just a little money. Going to a neighboring country might be possible. There are some cheap flights and it is lovely to stay in backpacker hostels. I hope you will be able to go to your next door country for a short visit. Then maybe in the future you might be able to explore some other nearby countries.

Yes I do. I wanted to travel so bad but cant afford it. I would like to travel locally first and then abroad, to a different countries. I hope Ill have another travel date soon...

Yes definitely. i want to travel, go to places i have never been before (canada, usa, carribean, australia, singapore, egypt, greece, france, italy, jerusalem, maldives, dubai, spain, etc) i want to travel with my family, hubby and relatives. however, i don't have the budget to that. of course, before going outside my country, i want to explore local destinations first (cebu, palawan, bohol, davao, camsur, vigan, batanes, siargao, baguio, etc)...there are many magnificent places here in the Philippines and i want to see them someday.

I want to travel the world,too. To see the planet we are living ,to embrace various cultures, to experience,to learn, that's my dream. But I cann't afford that. But like you, I will not lose my hope,and one day I will be able to see this colorful world.

yeah, i love to travel around the world. i like to go to paris, las vegas, macau, to any tourist destination, to hollywood but i dont have the money to fulfill it. i hope i could travel sooner....

My thoughts exactly. That's like my dream,traveling the world. If I could win a lottery, one of the 1st things I would do is go on a world tour! Sadly I haven't been abroad. Likewise, I can't afford it too. Within my country, I make small trips here and there. My most memorable trip was when I went to the Andaman Islands in the Indian Ocean. Its such a beautiful place. Wanna go there again and this time, visit Nicobar as well.

I'm passionate about it! I want to see each and every corner of the world, each and every culture. Once I develop some business setup that can generate income for me and I can take care of it, online, I would be traveling and document it. Later, I would publish the book and share my experience with the world!! ;)

I could afford to travel, my problem is often not wanting to when it comes to it or having difficulty encouraging my Wife to take the dive. I would very much like to visit the states and Canada but there's never really much hope with that as I hate flying and my Wife can be awkward about traveling. lol The globe? I doubt it. I could go on vacation a few times a year if I really wanted too.

Hi, I doubt if many people are able to afford to trave to many places.However if you do make efforts you can see at least some of the places.Start saving and putting away even a little amount each month and go to one place at a time . I feel we have to make an effort and try our best to fulfil our dreams...All the best and happy mylotting

I want to travel the world and the seven seas. I would like to see the world. There was an opportunity to go on a world cruise and travel to different countries for a semester. It was called Semester at Sea program. I was close to doing it but it got ever so expensive. One day, I hope to have enough money to travel the world and hopefully I'm still young enough to enjoy it. =)

Yeah... i want to go go in every country, visit their wonderful places , experience their culture, enjoy their food , learn their language and so many more.. i also want to travel in space like going to the mars someday or maybe to the moon.. but i think it's all just a dream for me..

yeah i wanted for it to.. if I was as rich as Bill Gates i will do that.. travel to many places, see and learn many things...but now... I even have a hard time to afford travel in my own country... sigh... but someday... i know i could do that

Oh my God, babe, you have said a mouthful. I would love to travel the world, but I am also lacking funds in doing so. Never mind the fact that I am scared to fly, but I know I will have to get over it, if I plan on traveling the world one day. I guess I can afford to travel my own country cause I have always wanted to go to New York, and one day I do plan on getting there, but I want to take at least one person along with me. I don't wanna go alone just in case something happens I will have someone close to me so I wont feel so helpless. I dont know if your dream of traveling the world will ever come through, but no matter what honey never give up those dreams and keep believing. Good luck.
