The first date is a crucial time for two persons. This is where they usually build impressions to each other. First dates could be a way to a serious relationship, or it may also be a way to find out that you're not attracted to the other person and not date him/her again.
There are people who tries so hard to make a good impression that it ends up ruining the date. It's good to be just yourself so that you'll appear natural and confident.
What are the things that you want to hear on a first date? What are the best lines that you've heard on a first date?

I would like to have a friendly talk on a first date. I will like to know more about the guy, his intersts, hobbies, his family, his ambitions, etc. I am a good listener and of course, I would like to listen to him more than I talk. I don't prefer to make it an interview session. I would be happy if he can get me a cold coffee or garlic bread. I'm not ready to pay for it if he has asked for a date.

I would my to know if the person I'm dating is already over with his former lover because it's possible that he might brought up the topic about his ex so at least I'm prepared. I want to know his family background and of course if he has a child or whatever. I think that would be it. I tend to forget the pick-up lines during first dates. I don't know why. HmMm... primarily because my first date wasn't really that memorable... Anyways, that would be it for now...

My first date was really good as I was not waiting for him to take a leave at work and come to meet me so this was unexpected for both of us to arrive to a decision that we both want to be together. Now we are together for more than four years and this is wonderful for me though.
What he told me the first date is about life and what he want and that I am part of that life too. It was simple marvelous.
