To do something well you have to like it esp if it is your job.
But nowadays young people are prone to money earning syndrome..
So they go after a job which offers them more money and less satisfaction..
Personally I think satisfaction in your job is more important than the money you earn..
So to be satisfied with your job you must love it...
What do you think?
Job aspirants,Will you choose a job you love to do..?
Employees, Had you chosen the job you loved?

Hi segar21, if choosing a job just as I could earn more money I would feel content initially. I would get bored if keep on doing the work which is not my interest. This is my true feeling as I did work in field which I didn't love it much. Yeah, at that time I could hardly find the job which I love. No other choice I had to try it as I needed to earn my daily expenses. I couldn't just stay at home doing nothing until I found the desirable job. After graduation, I wished to live on own.
After trying several jobs I finally come across the work I love. I feel comfortable and relaxed to work in the field I desire. I really enjoy working in the office though sometimes I might face some serve challenges as well as barriers. Occasionally I would encounter bottleneck when there is no any new improvement I would be refreshed and energetic again if having a couple of holidays. Yeah, I never feel bored and monotonous but always feel satisfied to have my desirable job
Happy posting

for me ill go with the high earning job as life is so hard now a days and i need more money specially if i dont own a house and im a single mother besides i can find happiness in other way like at home with my baby, with my family nor with friends. i can also find way to be happy with my job, its just a matter of adjustment and ill just think of it as a job to earn for me and my baby and not as a job to make me happy, coz even if i have job that i love but if its not enough for a living then what will i do with it.

I guess, I can say I must have chosen a job that I would love. Back in high school, when I was choosing my course for college studies, I chose to be a teacher even if I could have taken Computer Science and be a programmer or Accountancy. These are jobs you can get a high pay for as compared to a teacher. At least here in my country that's how it is.
As of now, the pay is just enough. I am hoping to earn more though. Thus, the online earning activities. lol.

It is a common knowledge to all of us that we are working to earn money. When we work, we always want to show our best effort so we can have achievements, satisfactions and all that. But, for us to reach our goal and be satisfied through chosen career with the intention of earning money, we have to love our work. Our work is something so dear to us. If we don't love our work, 100 percent, our work will not love us back. It is not just about money.

With the present economic situation nowadays it's hard to find jobs but if there's a job that will offer much higher salary then I might grab that because for me I want more money. Even if the job I don't like as long that I have the capability to do it I will. As long that it wont harm me I will not be a choosy person when it comes to the job.
I work once and the only thing I can say is that my job is very stressful and I really don't like it that much but it is something that I have to do because I needed to. It pressured me so much but I stay longer because the salary is much higher but one day I can no longer take it I quit.

I have had different kinds of jobs in the past. Some of those jobs have been very interesting and challenging, but I have also had jobs where I was just working for the money. I prefer to have a job that I love instead of a job where I earn a lot of money, because the jobs that I loved have given me a lot of happiness, and I enjoyed almost every day. When I was a student I also prefered jobs where I was able to learn something that I could use in my education instead of jobs where I earned more money.

first , i would choose the job that i love, but when i choose the one that i love, i know that i would enjoy it and be more practical. i also choose to love the one that earns big cash, and is very enjoyable for me. that is why i chose engineering, because i love math, and i wanna earn big money.

Years ago when you worked it was for money and enjoyment of the job.Today most people have to work for money and forget to be happy working.
With so many types of jobs out there try to find one you'll enjoy doing and will pay the bills.
If you aren't happy at work your work will suffer and you will become the evil worker to all who are around you. It would be better to have two partime jobs to meet the needs of living than to have one you dread doing and only do half as good as you would to partime filled with fun.

I'm a college student, so I'm mainly working for the money. I really love my job though, but I'm trying to veer closer to internet marketing and online business. It's pretty difficult, especially since I'm totally lost on the whole SEO concept, haha. I'm really glad that there are articles online for that though, like how to sell and network (http://www.ehow.com/how_6084610_sell-network.html) and hitting marketing success (http://www.ehow.com/how_6036703_hit-marketing-success.html) :)

Common sense says..you choose the money because you can't pay your bills or support yourself on love...of anything similar. You might not love your job, but if it pays your living expenses or supports your child as needed...you will find ways to make it work and "love" won't be a part of it. It will be what you have to do to live the way you need to or want to, and that will surpass "loving" your job. And often, you will learn to "love" your job if you are looking at it as a way to make a better living for yourself and your kids.

nowadays, most people who can work, take the job , not caring for the happiness of the job, or how good the job is. most people care is having a job to have food on the table even for at least 2 times a day.
having a job that gives you satisfaction is a great reward if the opportunity comes but most care is the money.
me, i have a job, i have it for 7 tiring years, the only time that i like my work was about 2 to 3 months when i was just starting. by time, i got fed up, it gave me all the problems.
the only thing is, i don't have a choice. if i leave my work, i can feed my family. so i need to go on with this freakin work, whether i like it or not.
most of my friends have also the same thing to complain. we want to change our job but we cant.
it is because we are overage and under educated. so for us, its hard to find a work, so if we got one, satisfied or not, we have to take it. it is because its the only job we can get.

Jobs should be chosen for the right reasons. Anyone can earn money. It does not necessarily mean happiness in your life. Choose a job because it is something that you love to do. It will bring you greaater rewards in life.

You've got to work at a job for some time before you know whether you love it or not. Agree? So, for job seekers, the money has to be their first consideration on whether to take the job or not. High pay jobs do not necessarily mean lesser satisfaction, and vice versa. It would be the best of both worlds if one can get a high pay job which at the same time brings a lot of job satisfaction.

The job i'm currently doing is strictly less physical and demanding. The money is measly and their aren't any benefits, that suits my family and i. I'll be going back to school to change all of that and hopefully, land a job, with decent pay, decent benefits and satisfying working conditions. If we were to ever come into some serious money, people would be punching my timeclock MAYBE, because who know's i might not want to even be bothered with the stress of that.
