It is indeed interesting. The problem is in the waves emitted by the phone. Every type of wave affects every part of a body in a way - a small way, but never the less very dangerous in time. The problem is that this exposure changes stuff in our bodies. And it does this not only to us, but to our kids as well. Our genetic code suffers alteration from these dangerous waves, which are genetically (possibly) passed down to our kids. Not much school is needed to realize this. It's interesting to see, however, that people haven't really gave this a thought until now. All we can hope for is for the companies that manufacture these things to think about ways to minimize the damage they produce on a molecular level, otherwise we might actually look like E.T. a few thousand years from now.

They've been talking about cells and cancer for a long time. I never put it next to my ear when I use mine, I always hold it in front of me.
BUT, not only cells can do damage. I use "MagicJack" at home. It lets me use a regular wireless phone. I called a friend and as we were talking, I thought she was lowering her voice, I could barely hear her, so we stop talking and thats when I noticed it wasnt her not talking loud, it was my ear. I couldnt hear anything from that ear and it lasted for 2 days.
Not sure whats going on but Im NOT putting anymore phones against my ears anymore.
AND they keep telling us that all that new stuff is BETTER, well its not always.
Oh Im not going to throw away my cell, thats what I use now, but I try to keep it as far away from my body as I possibly can.

I'm going to withhold judgement until a better study comes out. This study was flawed as far as I can tell...and I don't like the companies who are involved helping pay for the study (conflict of interest). BUT in the mean time, I personally rarily use a cell phone, and if I had kids, they wouldn't have one until they were in their teens and then I'd be monitoring their cell phone usage.
