On the last episode what do you think happened?

For me it happened all so fast that it took a while to process everything due to the intensity. Why was the mayor's family affected by the vampire device? Are they vampires or something similar? For me I doubt that they are vampires because the son's eyes were different from vampire eyes. And do you guys think that Damon knows about Katherine? And is Katherine staying? And is Jeremy going to be killed by the Salvator brothers because he's turning into a vampire? Input and comments would be awesome thanks :D

Hi,mickeynomouse! I think the mayor's family are not vampires.But they are definitely not common people.Maybe they are werewolves or something like that. And personally,I doubt that Damon knows Katherine's coming back.After all the things he has been through,I think he is truly in love with Elena.Especially after he sees Elena wearing the dress on the Founder's Day. I wish Katherine would not stay but I think it is unlikely.She comes back to Mystic Falls for some reasons,definitely.And I hope that Jeremy will not become a vampire. We will see how it goes soon.
