Does anyone know anything about making candles? I need to know which wax is the cleanest burning, for inside wine/soda bottles and which type of wick works well with that type of wax. We want to start our own candle making and have TONS of idea's but we know nothing about making candles. Are there cleaner burning scents and colors also?

thanks Hon. I keep hearing soy but I'm wondering if it's just a fad.

Me too. But, I have been hearing good things about bees for years. Try both and see for yourself. The bee one will smell yummy too.

I think soy candles burn cleaner and are more eco friendly - don't think burning candles inside plastic is a good idea, so I'm guessing you are talking glass....

Yes, glass. We did experiment with a couple and they won't work because of the necks being too small but we're working on some idea's that we have to make it work. The flame kills the oxygen inside of the bottle and puts the flame out. We have other idea's for other types of bottles now though. Thanks.
