oil drilling

I live in Florida so, believe me, I take this accident very seriously. I don't believe that all offshore drilling should stop however. This country is too dependent upon foreign oil and we need to have access to this resource...but safety must come first. I don't believe that the existing rigs should be shut down and I was glad to read that they're going to be inspected more often with stricter regulations in place. Exploratory drilling, which is what BP was doing with the rig that blew up, needs to be stopped until improvements in safety can be made and assured.
