It is very good news too us I heat summer. I have prickly all over my body and I can't endure the heat anymore. We really need rain to start planting in our small farm in the province. We are trying our luck in agriculture business I hope we going to earn there so our capital would return. I hope it going to rain soon because our electricity bill is goes up.

we must be lucky that we did not get to experience much of the brownout / or outages during the drought. but i am happy that we will have rain now. coz i see a lot of the farmers are really suffering from this problem and yes, the rain will solve this. hopefully our drainage system is fixed and improved as well so we will experience less of the problems rains may cause.

yes, I heard it too that rain will fall again in two weeks time, and as usual, right in time when our children will start trooping for school as school will open I guess between the first and second week of June. anyway, the news of the upcoming rain is most welcomed by the majority of the people especially in Manila area. where heat is too much of a burden.

Yes indeed. The Philippines is hot even now, also very hot after the rain pours. It is such a blessing we have rain for quite a while and everyday now in Zamboanga. Though the blackout is still occurring everyday during 3:00pm but only 30 minutes and once a day only. I hope there will be more rain to come especially in Lanao.

I hope that it does rain because I am already having trouble breathing because of the humid weather. But our government weather advisory has always been wrong, so if they say two weeks I doubt that.

At long last there will be rain. We've experienced a very dry season of late and it brought us nothing but hardship. I just hope that this rainy season won't usher in storms that spell disaster. Let's just hope and pray.

Well, the rain clouds have been appearing here in Mindanao since yesterday and there were also drops of rain. According to PAGASA, an ITCZ has been affecting this part of the country since last week but it has not rained that much. Only yesterday and today did the rain actually pour. And undoubtedly it's really a blessing. However, I also hope that with the coming rainy season, it will not cause destruction, like cause floods and the spread of the dengue epidemic. I wish that our weather will go back to normal wherein the rainy season and the summer season are balanced, not like what we are experiencing.

That's really good news, jing. It's been really hot and I hope they really are not mistaken in their prediction because sometimes they are wrong. I hope this lessens the brownouts and hopefully, the meralco bill will go down. Better get the umbrellas and raincoats ready then...Happy mylotting. :)

No. a normal weather will be enough... I hate too much heat.. but I also hate rainy days... rain slows me down when I want to go shopping or go to school.

For as long as this would not flood us again like Ondoy did I would welcome such a change in the climate. I can see just this morning that the clouds were gray but it did not rain I suppose. I think we need the rain badly as it is hard to sleep at night because of the weather.

I'm not that optimistic. If there's too much heat i'm sure there will be too much rain. I just hope that rains will fall in the right places.

it is a good news though it should not turn out be typhoon or some heavy torrential downpour. We all need a break from this summer heat.

We are having rains for the past days but only goes on for an hour so maybe. It doesn't even help to keep the heat down. Lol, we are nearing the typhoon season so the heat wave is sure to end now. If that doesn't happen then we should call our American Indians and teach us the rain dance. lol

Nice news. It's been a long time that the rain poured. We all know that there are power shortages all over the country. This rain can help.
