I felt sad with the prices of food these days cause I spent 20 dollars last time I went to the supermarket and I only had a few items. I get to buy a kilo of hotdog, some meat and vegetables, and other things like toiletries and that was it. I get to buy a lot with 20 dollars before. Its sometimes frustrating to think about the prices. Are you feeling the same way?

Yes it would seem that every prices is getting high these days. The only thing that seldom increases is my salary. :D So got no choice but to really be strict in my budget.

Just as I said in the other post, salaries are stagnant. lol I am also working on a very tight budget and its good. Sometimes I worry cause there is a need to have your resources there with you. I have money but I can withdraw it. Like my mylot earnings, I made cashouts already but the money is still in my paypal cause I dont have the card I can use to withdraw my funds from paypal.

Yes I agree totally with you, I am in the UK, and the cost of food has gone up so much. Now we are starting to see the summer here a lot more of us are buying salad things, and to be honest it seems to be more expensive to buy than the regular food you cook, and the worst thing is it does not seem to to last like it used to either, I mean for example... before I could buy a cucumber, and it would last well over a week in the fridge if I hadnt used it all by then, but now, it seems to go soft after only a few days... so then you go buy another one, and again you end up spending even more money. Then you get the shops who have the special offers on, and you spend more, because you think thats a good deal!

At present food items are bought at exorbitant rates. Nowadays it is hard to persist on meager monthly incomes. The family budget turns out of control quite often on account of the spiraling up of essential commodities.

TOO HIGH!!! TOO EXPENSIVE!!
In malaysia, i always spend more than 100 Ringgit for the vegetables, fruits, diaper, pasta sauce, and some other items.
The expenses is always too high if compared to the earnings we get. I'd say 20 dollars for those you bought is considered cheap.

In my country, if there are only 2 people in your household and you are spending 20 dollars for food then its really expensive. There's only me and my husband and we spend 20 dollars or more in a week just to buy food and other necessities. With that kind of budget, we cant even buy our need for clothes and other things yet so we have to tell ourselves and discipline ourselves of what we want.

its not the same in every country.. the prices of every thing depends upon the situation of inflation in the country.. and now a days in every inflation is at the peak.. so we have to take care of prices.. and we have to be choosy..
