There is always that one room that you hope you are not stuck having to clean, that someone else does it. Of course, it is always inevitable that you are the one stuck doing it because no one else wants to clean it. For me, its the bathroom. That room never stays clean for the obvious reasons. Also, the garage would be a close second, even though its not technically part of the house but still has a special mention of its own. So what room in your house do you dread having to clean? Looking forward to reading your responses.

hi megamatt.
as for me, i can live with cleaning the bathroom, since i use it not only once. it's a little sanctuary, so it needs a little tender love and care.
what i dread cleaning, though it's not technically a part of the house, is the bookshelf. i suppose no one ever dusts a bookful of shelf on a daily basis. i love the smell of books, but i dont really come to love the smell of books and dust together. I guess i just dont enjoy it that much because i've seen several spiders and webs whenever I do.
happy cleaning!

Yes, the bookshelf can get dusty. Especially mine, considering that it is jammed in a closet. And closets can be a tedious day long job sometimes, especially considering we over look them a lot of the times. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

It's a small room that my mother used to store art tools in but now it's filled with old roller blades, notebooks, dust, paper to recycle and toys and all sorts of crap. I cleaned it once and it was a super project but now my sister and mother filled it again so that we can barely store vacuum cleaner in it. I am planning to clean it again next month when i finish school so it can actually be useful again. Good question by the way.

Oh the small rooms can be a pain. I think that is a reason why the bathroom is such an adventure to clean partially as well. Because it is so far. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I am with you in that I dread to clean the bathroom. I hate to see the mess that is usually there and it has to be one of the most unsanitary rooms of the home. However, I feel good when I walk out of there knowing that it is clean and sanitized again. I really do not like to clean the kitchen either and I think that they are a close tie as to which I hate to clean more.

Yes that it is a great feeling to know that the bathroom has been tackled. Well at least for the day because it will be back to "normal" the next day. Still there is a sense of accomplishment in getting that done. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think the room I dread cleaning is the kitchen. That's because I get overwhelmed with too many dishes to do at once.I try doing the dishes soon as I use them, but it doesn't always work out that way.I have no choice but to clean it.My daughter she cleans our bathroom. We each take a room to clean, and I always get the kitchen. The livingroom is the easiest room to clean in our house.

The kitchen is one that can be tricky. You think that you are done for the night and then there just seems to be new dishes popping up. It can be quite the puzzler at times. Now while kitchen duty was never as bad as bathroom duty to me, it did seem like it was tedious. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I absolutely dread having to clean the kitchen. Luckily it's just me, so if I let it go for a day or two, it's okay and not going to bother anyone. Something about doing dishes every day seems like a waste of time, and with no dishwasher a total pain to do daily or even several times a day. So I put it off until I can't stand looking at them any longer.

We have never had a dishwasher here. It just is never a luxury we thought was necessary, given the fact that not too many dishes are getting dirtied up. However, I can see how some people would use it. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Ooh, well, for me it has to be my bedroom, only being 18, its somthing that I dont clean very often, and the main reason behind that is because it always takes me that long when I do!

Yes, the bedroom can be a challenge to. Although, it was not as bad as when I was a teenager or a child for me. Of course, during those days clean my bedroom meant "shove everything underneath my bed" and pretend there was no mess. Those were the days. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
