I think its better than having a high blood sugar. Either way, having too low is not good. Well they might just be lacking the proper diet a person should have. They should just eat some carbohydrates but not too much thou. And eat candy at times when they are on hypo. Its also advisable not to let them do hazardous things when they are dizzy and weak to prevent accidents. They could also consult from an expert or have a check-up at a physician's clinic

My mom had that too.
One thing she always had with her at all times was either a candy bar or hard candy. So if she became light headed she would have something to help until she was able to get home.
Have you asked the doctors what is the best ways to deal with this. They do have good information if you ask for it. If not you can also do a thorough check online. There are so many health forums these days, you could join one that is linked to this type of health problem.
Make sure they have a good blood tester, can't think of the name of it at the moment. That if the doctor suggested that they check it, do it even if you feel good. It is necessary to keep track of your levels. This way you will figure out a good diet that will help keep you blood sugar in balance.
