I think it is weird to ask a question like this,
I have experienced such a situation,so I decided to share it.
This incident happened to me 6 yrs ago, after I completed my high school,I decided to earn some pocket money by working as a pizza delivery boy.But bad luck came to me as a serious bike accident..I got an injured back, multiple fractured leg and lost some facial skin..I was rushed to hospital..Got my primary treatment, thank god nothing serious with my back..the doctor asked me to take rest at least 2 yrs...I felt like being paced under house arrest..Almost 6 month I spent 24 hrs in my bed, after I could walk with the help of crutches but still was trapped like a caged bird..I spent a few days crying and praying to God...But slowly I got adjusted.I don't know how I spend my remaining days..reading books, watching movies, friends often paid me a visit...
at last that day came,my release day...I have no words to express what I felt..
4 yrs passed, since then I always pray "O God,never ever let such a situation happen in my life".
If only 2yrs made me feel like this,I couldn't even imagine the experience felt by those who got trapped in their home due to permanent disorders..
So dear myLot friends have you ever felt trapped..
Happy myLotting..
Have a good day/night....

Hi sagar: Oh My God, that was a terrible experience I can imagine that situation. Hope it never happends to you again. In my case I haven't passed through a situation like this but I think that I have felt trapped in my own house when I have some discussions with my family so I don't feel comfortable and I don't want to talk in my house. Then I feel sad and a little depressed. Thanks for sharing with us this story. Have a nice day.

I can just imagine the pain and the boredom you felt while you were recuperating from the accident. Maybe it was a blessing after all since you were able to discern the importance of life and also to be more sympathetic with people who have physical disabilities. It must be a very hard situation to be in, to be unable to move nor go anywhere.

hell0 there!
yes, I have felt like that many times and even once I was literaly traped at home, but let me tell you all about that what has happened. :)
it was few years ago, maybe I was 17-18 years old and I was at home studying for soem exam- I gueess it was math, because i really studied a lot for it, just because I wasn't good at all and I prefered to study a lot and be more prepaerd for it. so as i told, I was at home, studying. the door-handie of my room was broken and when you pulled it a little bit strronger it went out so that if there was someone from the other side(actually in the room) he/she stayed trapped in it. and one day my mom, after she went to work, she came to se me before went out and forgot about the handie, I guess you know what has happened. i started shouting and kicking the door in order to bring some help, but no one was at home. I didn't have any mobile then so I just lied down on the bed and continued learning, but suddenly I felt hungry and wanted to go to the kitchenand have some snack, but couldn't do it. it was so awful, and I never felt such a need to get out than that day. I was so happy when my sister came from school and leted me out. what a happYness it was :)
and some other times I also felt like traped in my house, especially when there was nobody home and I have to stay there just to switch of the oven, or the washing machine. but no of these can compare with the horror that I experienced when I was really trapped in my room.that was the worst one :)
and the most of the time when I feel myself trapped at home, I prefer to read some interesting book and not to think about it and also to listen to some music, because it makes me calm down and relax!

well, i experienced premature labor on my 7th month of pregnancy and i was advised complete bed rest... meaning, i can only stand up and get out of bed if i need to go to the bathroom. i am even discouraged to sit and stay in front of the computer. it was really a boring experience and i got to be very sensitive and emotional. but it was for the safety of my baby so i had to endure it.

whoah, that sounds awful. i'm glad you got through it. when i read your question at first, i thought you meant it like metaphorically. i guess i've never felt literally trapped in my own home. i wouldn't want that to happen to me.

Sorry to hear with your sad story. That's very terrible but I am impressed with your courageous and strong heart. You maybe one of the most strongest person and really a survivor with that accident. God really loves you.
Personally, I never felt trapped in my own home because I can freely move as I wanted as I am still single. Most of the time, I love staying home because it is only in my room that I can find peace of mind and tranquility. Prayers can move mountain and there maybe a good reason why God let it happen.

yes i do sometimes it's due to our inner security system. When you are sick, it feels though the world is closing in on you. You don't have to feel that way. If you can't go anywhere. Sit outside and enjoy nature and walk around. The fact is we all need human contact. The internet only masks, you have to be out and be around people despite of your embarrassment of injury or sickness. Nothing should make you feel trapped in your home. When you hurt, you feel embarrassed around people (me).

yes sometimes i do because that is where i am always at when im not at school or out with my girlfriend. This is where i make my living where i study where i learn most the things i apply to human life as of right now. I remember when i was little i used to think my house was a huge play ground don't ask why i just did xD

Yez. My home could be the worse place to be at times when boredom strikes. But if your house has everything on it, then maybe things are different. Maybe it could be the most pleasing place to be. I'm talking about the home theaters, unlimited access to the net, a pool and a nice wife with your happy and loving family would the best place to be.

I feel that everyday especially that I have no work and my family always go out. I usually stay at home and guard the house from intruders. I feel like im the maid of this house.. that's why im finding a way to get a descent job as fast as i can so that they cannot order me around like a maid.. Its my 2 months like this since i graduated.. I hope this stops because its makes me crazy

hi sagar21
yeah sometimes, when i'm not allowed to go outside , i felt like i'm trapped or imprisoned. so i will just go to the computer and search for something interesting in the internet or watch videos on youtube so i will not feel trapped anymore..
have a nice day..

whoah, sorry to hear that, but i never experienced something like that that needs me to stay home for like years, but i do feel that sometime im trapped in my own home, especially at night when my friends wants to go out or having a party but there are times that my parents forbid me on going out, i cant also just sneak and go out of my house to just join my friends, i might hurt my parents feelings.
