Trust is the base of every relationship

Being totally and completely honest with the person in your life can be wonderful- or dangerous... My last relationship began over long conversations getting to know each other. Divulging things I had never told anyone - ever. And although it DID bring us closer- at least that is what I felt. It also made for a much uglier ending. My ex used the personal things I had shared with him to his advantage in arguments or even use it to start fights with me. So I think twice about sharing everything with anyone anymore :(

You are right, I think that trust is the single most important thing that you need to have to be able to maintain a relationship. When my relationship with my husband was new, there were some issues with trust between the two of us and that nearly led to us breaking up. However, we were able to talk through the conflict and it made our relationship stronger. Now, there are no issues of trust between the two of us and we have a very strong relationship.

I agree with you blitz!! Trust is very important. Unhealthy relationships do not include trust and respect, which are very important parts of a family relationship, good friendship, etc. Without trust you would not be able to have confidence to share your feelings, emotions, and self with someone else. Trust means to believe. When you extend your trust to someone, it means that you have no doubt in your mind about the honesty, integrity and credibility of the other person.

for me its trust and sharing is most important for a relationship.. u have to share ur feelings and everything.. so the trust gets stronger.. and the relationship too..

This is true, it is very important to have trust, ive been with my husband for almost three years, never woulda happened with out trust
