Behind Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics survived another 4th quarter collapsed as they withstood the rally of the Magic and gaining the upperhand in the series with an all-important win in game 2, 95-92. Pierce scored 28 points and Rondo added 25 points for the Celtics. Dwight Howard was aggressive throughout the game scoring a game-high 30 points. But it was not enough to overcome the 53 points combined by Pierce and Rondo.

Game 3 would be the turning point and a crucial game for the magic. If they will loss in this game, then its over. Its hard to climb back from a 0-3 series deficit. But if the Magic will win in game 3, they will regain the confidence they once showed in the 2 playoff series against the Hawks and Bobcats.

I think the series is over. If Orlando can't win in their home court what are their chances when the series shifts to Boston? It will be a really tough challenge for Orlando. But no matter what I think Boston will win this series.

I understand what you mean. Game 3 must also be a crucial game for the Celtics and the win will eventually make them a win away for the coveted NBA Finals. But Orlando has a chance, thus, the Celtics should not allow the Magic back in the series.

Orlando should make the necessary adjustments. It has been the Rajon Rondo playoffs he became the ultimate X factor already. Of course Paul Pierce would always be the option if he shot the lights out game over. It is not only dwight howard and vince carter that should step up but Rashard Lewis. Imagine Lewis was overpaid and he is turning to another Antawn Jamison of the playoffs. Whatever happened to last year when he torched Lebron during the western conference finals.

Rashard Lewis should exert more effort. We cannot tell but I guess the Boston Celtics made the key adjustment since game 1 to hold Lewis.
