We are here in this world with a purpose. It's not just to live, eat and die. There must be something really special that's why we are here. Each one of us has a role to play , a mission to accomplish.
Do you believe that your fate is already written that needs to be fulfilled?
Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. :-)

when i was a kid , i was told that God created men because He wanted to share His kingdom with us. and among His creations we are the ones that He love the most.It was our decision to go wayward to what He originally planned for us.
He did not create us just to "obey" him but he created us because He wanted to love us... Am I right here, Miui? :-)
Thank you for responding. God bless you.:-)

I agree with you. If we speak of life and fate in the religious side, they say that our life has already been written. It is already planned and wrote by God. They say that life is a journey that we shall take and no one knows it, but only God knows what we will be. No one knows what he can become, to whom he will be or simply his destiny. We are here just to portray and accomplish that fate. If it's the end of the road, then so be it.

God has orchestrated our fate but it is still us who will play the roles and it is all up to us what will become of us. Didn't He give us the freedom to choose our own way? He even gave us a mind able to rationalize everything.
But, I do agree with you, no matter how we march on that journey for the fulfillment of our destiny, at the end of it, it is always God's will that prevails. He constantly guiding us every step of the way.:-)
Thanks for joining this discussion, Maean.God bless.:-)

No, not already written, and nothing special. Each of us is just another person born with another few billion, and a few trillion who have come and gone before. A few have found a mark in the history books, a number have made a significant name for themselves, another number became infamous. Most will never be heard of again after a century or two.
But it's based on what a person does with their life, the decisions they make at the time. Everyone's own life is their own responsibility.

it is true , my dear, that we can only be responsible with our own lives and own doings. But in our own special way, God has a plan for us. He may never willed all of us to be famous and left a mark in the history of the world but He made us truly special. One in a billion.
It is our choice what we make of ourselves while we still here. Either we run away from doing what is right or we succumb to what is we think is right, it is still our call. We are the architects of our own fate.
Thank you for responding, Qaeyious.:-)

I believe there is a reason we are here. I often spend time trying to figure that reason out for myself. Sometimes I get depressed because I don't feel like I have a real purpose. All I ever wanted to be was a mother, but my husband and I are infertile. It is hard to deal with. My husband says I am here to love him. I guess that is true!

i think we do have a fate of ourselves. we do the daily things, we live, eat...and we are all finding our fate. some find it and work hard for it, and others are searching. it's life. yes, i think we do have a fate which is already written.

I once read a book about finding oneself and fate. When we try to manipulate things around us, we are manipulating our fate. However, at the end of the day, it is still God's will that will prevail based on our actuation. That's why we are constantly swift by the wave of life. Dragging us to where it may be as a consequence of our actions.
We often find fate and tried to manipulate it. Once we failed, we then regret it and create another road to another journey towards a new fate.
Thank you, Mercury_yan.;-)

I agree with you eureka that we are here in this world with a purpose. The first and foremost purpose is to make this world a better place to live. Second purpose is that the next generation who has not yet come must inherit from us a better world than the one we have inherited. Third purpose is that we must bring a peace of mind to others.
When God had sent us into this world, he sent us with an inherent nature. God also gave us a free will. By making use of our free will, we develop a disposition by constantly improving our settled mode of behavior. In development of our disposition our parents, our teachers, our friends and our environment contribute a lot. We may develop a positive or negative outlook. If we develop a negative outlook then we have misused the God given resources. The kind of disposition and behavior we develop decides our fate. How we behave and act makes us successful or unsuccessful in life.
To fulfill the purpose for which we came into the world we must make full use of our potentialities we are born with. It would never happen that we assume just because someone already wrote our fate; we will still be successful, even if we do not make the full use of our potentialities.

hah! Very well said ,my dear! you've said everything in full comprehension of what your purpose or purposes here on Earth.
God has a plan for all of us. and each plan is as unique as every individual's finger prints. But, He also gave us the free will to choose whether to pursue and follow that plan or just simply go on our way and choose a different path.
God has a plan, indeed but still, He let us to be the master of our fate.It is all up to us.
I'd like to commend you for this very wise perspective of what is our life is all about. :-)

lol. that is so free spirited of you ,my dear. Don't you think that it is your destiny to just eat, drink and be merry because tomorrow you ain't gonna die yet until you find something worth dying for when YOUR tomorrow comes? Just a thought, my dear.
