I don't think there will be a big problem of loving a classmate it just depends on you on how are you going to handle it. If you know she likes you then why don't you court her or propose something that you are going to express how much you like her or start in a friendship so that she does not have any hesitations to be with you? You can't actually choose between friendship and love because both of it are important to have progress if you really want to commit with a woman as your partner in lovelife. Is there something wrong if she is your classmate? well that depends if you are too much in love to her to the extent that you are always staring at her during class then that is different story.

Off course nothing wrong with it...I think it's natural, that you like someone. And your own classmate counted on it. A relationship always begin with friendship and nothing wrong with it...

It is good to love a classmate but the thought is you might gamble your friendship with her (if you two are friends). You will never know what will happen so get yourself ready to all the consequences that you might encounter. Well to answer your question, ther is absolutely nothing wrong w/ loving a person, if they love you back!! Most strong meaningful relationships, even marriages started off as friends, classmates, what have you. Long lasting relationships have to be basis of some1where.
