Hi Mylotters!
I have a lovely family. But during vacation of my child, we went to my in-Law's Home. I returned after staying there for few days. While my Wife and child have stayed there as the child is having long vacation. So since last 4 days I am alone at home. No one to talk to after coming from office.
staying alone at home gives us opportunity to introspect and think about ourselves. To realise how much we love our family members and how much we miss them.
How is your experience when you are alone at home? Will you pl share.

Hi Common_man,
I have a 16 yr old who often has friends over as well as my 25 year old living with me. I also have 2 other grown kids that are in and out of here. I have a pretty tiny apartment. It often requires a bit of creativity just to shower and get ready to leave in the morning. Finding time alone can be nearly impossible at least within these 4 walls. I have to say that I really enjoy and bask in any time alone that comes my way. I know it won't be for any length of time. I also equally enjoy the time I have with my girls. I know that there will come a day that I will have more time alone than I care for.

Hi friend thanks for response. You are lucky to be with such a good family. Though small appartment may be appearing as a problem, in rush time, it sure maintains proximity and closeness amongst members of family.
Happy mylotting.

I always experience that too friend, and it is true, we can always see how we love and miss and value or love ones when they are away!!! lat holiday i was alone too, and it gave a chance though to reflect many things... and I realized that I miss them so much! That people could not just afford to be alone the whole life... now that my love one is very far, i also see to it that everyday I will have a chance to talk to her even for a while---because love is nurtured much in distance, I do not know if you would gonna agree, but I guess it's true... because it is happening to me... Good day and God bless!!!

Hi friend, I agree with you. When our loved one are away from us, talking them over phone will help a lot in maintaining emotional closeness.I also talk daily to my loved ones when alone.
Thanks for response.

I've been living with my family all my life, Im now 23 although surely I will miss them if I'm far, there this time that I want to live alone to give myself a time, to think and realize about things that I wanted, frustration, I mean realization of yourself. How many times how I wished I could do it even just for a year, but I guess it's not yet time...

Whenever I stay at home I usually get lonely. Sure sometimes I need my alone time but usually I like being surrounded by people or maybe even just a few because I am a very social person and I like to communicate and interact with different kinds of people. Also being home alone can be kind of boring, as you have no one to play or hang out with. I feel like a loner when I'm home alone, as if I have no friends. =P I guess everyone has their own interpretation of being home alone.

Hi Thanks for response friend.
Yes every one has one's own perspective in looking at anything, and so lonaliness. Human being as social animal will always feel need to be with people. But when circumstances makes you to stay alone, we have to get adjusted to it, looking at positive side of it if any and that is what i exactly do when i have to stay alone, which is very rare once or twice in a year.
Happy mylotting.

I love to be alone always, I can do everything all I want, eat all I want, sleep for long hours, cry without asking you why, watch TV till my eyes popped, just lay around not doing anything, stack up the dishes till I don't have plates to use, and a lot more...

Hi Thanks for response.
But don't you feel need to stay connected to your loved ones emotionally while enjoying your lonaliness your own way?

Sometimes to stay alone is good as we get to think about many things we did not get time to think about like thinking about yourself and what could you do to improve some things in your life which you have been neglected days ago. When I am alone I think of all those people around me who support me and love me a lot.

I would feel the same too. Currently, I am home alone, and I have to do everything myself. To be honest, I miss my mom's cooking and her soup. I keep on trying, but I just couldn't make the same thing like hers. They are on vacation, so I have to take care of myself for this whole month.

Well I am used to being alone, ever since I lost my wife 11 years ago. My children are gown up, and all settled. They have a family of their own. I have to pass my time all by my self, tinkering with the PC, chatting with friends, either on net or mobile, watching TV, reading news papers. Some times if I am lucky I am able to spend my time with some friend and their family. I have had enough opportunity for introspection and meditation. I am gone used to this kind of life. I am enjoying it in a way.

Hi Sir,
I was not aware about you being alone. Anyway, I know you have adjusted to it very well, and you have very wide friend circle that admires you for your qualities.
Happymylotting Sir.

Yes being alone has some moments of happiness but being with family is greater delight
