Has it been possible for you to travel outside your home country. If so which countries have you enjoyed traveling to. If not do you think you might be able to go off traveling in the future. Which countries do you think you might be able to visit one day?

I went to several countries in Europe in the 1970s and 1980s, when I was a child and teenager. I went to France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, etc. My favourite was Austria, we went to Innsbruck and the Tirol and it was beautiful. Then I had my children in the 1990s and we haven't been abroad since, due to lack of money, but we are thinking of going to Germany next year. We live in the UK.

For work, but not so much for pleasure.
My work enables me to travel around and visit suppliers. And since we work mostly with companies in the US and in Canada, my travel destinations have been limited to north america. It was the same when I was working in Asia, and I visited suppliers within the Southeast corridor.
My target for pleasure travel would have to be Europe!

I have hardly been to Europe (only Italy and The Netherlands), but as I have lived in Asia a while I have managed to visit Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and Cambodia. Still want to see Laos and maybe the Phillippines.
Otherwise been to the USA twice (Vegas and L.A) and to Prague.
I am often lucky enough to visit friends and this reduces the costs. For those with less spare money you could try the many travel friend sites and of course Couchsurfers for ways to make it cheaper.
In the future North Africa is top of the agenda, and one day NZ and Australia.

If I had the money, I'd go all over the world. I would visit so much of Europe, and go back to Australia and New Zealand. But no way in the world I can do that. The last time I was out of my country was in 2003, and I was in Mexico for a couple of days.

I have just recently returned from America, L.A. This has been the first time I have travelled in years and the first time my children have been outside of Australia. I really enjoyed Disneyland and now I have the travel bug , and would like to really have a good look around America as I found that the way of life is so different to ours and the housing is different. We only spent 10 days there and I would like to visit again.
Cheers Sue

Hi,
I have traveled to your country England so far. That was in the years 2005 and 2006. I might be able to visit some other countries, if I get a chance from my company, or by joining other companies.
I would like going to NewZealand and Switzerland.
Regards

Yes, actually I just had my first trip outside my country when I went to Singapore last April and I really enjoyed it. I am hoping to travel more in the future and visit other Asian countries as well. After Asia, I dream of traveling to Europe, Latin America, USA and other parts of the world. I actually want to be like Samantha Brown of the Travel Channel.

I have had the chance to visit many different European countries for instanse Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and I have enjoyed all of my trips a lot. I love visiting new countries, and I think it is really interesting to visit countries that are different from my own. In a half a year I am going to visit Romania, Bulgaria and Greece for the first time and I am really excited about it. When I have been there I have been to most countries in Europe, and after that I would love to travel around in Asia.

I'm from the Philippines and I have traveled to nearby countries like Singapore and Malaysia. The second time I went to Singapore, I was with my hubby and 2 kids. Still, I would like to travel farther than Asia like Europe and the Americas (Canada, USA, Bahamas, Brazil, Argentina). But I would have to save up for that!
