My first touch of the computer was when I was in 4th year of my high school (secondary school). The computer teacher taught us something about DOS (Disk Operating System). Now, I find it useful in repairing damaged operating systems.

I think I was around 7 years old when my father bought a computer. At first all it had was a simple DOS screen which I used to play around with sometimes, and also used to play the occasional games. But it was gradually upgraded and I think now its the best electronic device that one can buy in a house because it is an all rounder which can do everything.

Hello, I think I was about 11 or 12 years old when I got my first computer. It was a ZX Spectrum 48K. I spent hours using it. This was well before anyone had internet in their homes, early 1980's. I still have my first computer, not sure if it still works. I think my mobile phone has more power than that computer, but at the time it was space-aged. I was around 20-ish when I joined the internet revolution, and there was no such thing as affordable broadband, just good old dial-up. LOL

I was in my 30's when I used my first computer! I just got my first home pc 2 years ago! I didn't know what a computer was when I was in grade school! We didn't have any when I went to high school! The first time I went on a computer was a friends house and I played Solitare!

I was about 11 years old and I remember that I found the computer to be the most exciting thing haha. I was always going on chats and looking up images of my favorite cartoons. I met some friends at the time, and some of them are still my friends now :) We live in different countries but it's great how we've kept our friendship for around 9 years now. I'm young but it's amazing to see how technology has evolved from the first time i used my computer until now :D. Now i use it for work of course but when you're a kid, it's the greatest thing ever!

I am 22 years when I was allowed to sit before computer on my own.It was during my graduate course.Computer programing was one of the compulsory courses. We used Punch cards to make data entry. We inserted those data keyed in cards in a reader to get results,if remember correctly.During the years between 17 to 21 I used to watch somebody working on the machine in a glass enclosure. We used to wait for a couple of days for the results to come because there were long queues of programs. There used to be queues for printing services too.

I actually didn't get a computer of my own until I moved out and bought myself one. My family had an old DOS computer when I was young (I think we got it when I was 5 or something like that) that we all took turns playing games on now and then. It wasn't good for anything except playing games on. My grandfather got our family's first internet-capable computer when I was 8 and when I went down on the weekends we would sometimes use it together to play yahtzee or something like that or play games on, but I didn't use the internet a whole lot on it for a while. I can't remember when my immediate family got our first computer, but I had to share it with so many people that wanted to use it that it was a hassle for me to get on it. Needless to say, I was extremely thankful to finally get my own computer when I did. ^_^

I think I was around 8 or 9 years old when I first experienced using a computer. That was back in 1995 - 1996 so it was a really old school PC. It was my uncle's PC so I was always excited when we went to his place. I remember playing solitaire and a really fun car racing game.

I was around 7 or 8 years old, but the first time I used the Internet I was 11 years old. And what did I do until then? I played Solitaire in the computer.

I was around 6 years old. Just after my first year of school and I started to get into gaming straight away.
