I prefer texting because like you said it's more convenient. When you text you can actually send complete thoughts while calling sometimes there can be moments of silence that can wast your minutes or just frustrate you. Also most of your text can be saved so that you can remember what you or the other person said in case you lose your train of thought.

To be honest I do a lot of texting. I call too, but not as much. If I have a lot to say, I'll call but if its a simple 'how are you doing' I'll text. Of course it depends on the person. Some people I have to call, and some I can text or call, and some simply perfer I just text.

I guess it depends on what you need to say. If all you need to say is 'be right there' then it's better an sms, but if you actually need to hold a real conversation sms's are so inpersonal, there is no point to the conversation, you feel more detached. If it's someone you care then definitely call, if it's just to communicate then SMS's are just fine.

To be honest, how I wanted to always call and hear in person the immediate respond of the person. However, that is not always the case. I am still struggling hard financially, and I find it hard to be calling anyone and to a number of persons. Hehe. So for me, I barely call. Only at times when there are emergency situations. And during at times when answer is really needed in that moment. Texting is more popular here in the Philippines, since there is always available lesser load for everyone here. hehe. if call is available, then why not?

I don't text anymore. In fact the facility which I am availing right now is based on the calling. And my call charges are quiet low compared to texting. Most of my family members prefers to talk now, than text. I don't have a unlimited texting plan.the only time I text is,if I cannot contact a person on phone.I prefer keeping a message. My fingers also hurts after quiet some time.
Take care, and happy mylotting.

I have better messaging features on texting than I do on calling plans. That's ATT for you. I would rather text most of the time. Just because it's almost pointless to have to call someone and tell them okay or bye or love you and them not got it for a long time. With a text sometimes it will send out before a call will. It's just easier for me.

It really depends on what Im doing at the time. Sometimes a call is better if you really have a point to get across and its too much to text. If its short and sweet then send a text. If its something that takes a discussion then a call is neccessary

I guess I prefer texting more than calling because well, It's more expensive to call than to text since in our place we have unlimited text and it's a lot cheaper than calling. Texting is better than calling because in calling there is this EMR, well it's like a radiation emitted that can be harmful to us when calling. although it's really easier calling a person than texting specially if your lazy typing the things you want to say to a friend.

I prefer calling cause its much faster than texting. In texting, you have to wait for the person to reply, compared to calling where you get immediate answers. But I use texting for gossip and non-immediate matters. :D

Ya but now the call rates are also very cheap. so i call my friends rather than send a msg. because if we call then we get back response fast but if we send a msg then it will take some time to response back.

I don't text anymore, but my daughter used to text a lot. We both prefer to talk now, than text, as she has only a limited amount of texts she can use per month, where I am on an unlimited texting plan. the only time I will text is when my best friend will text me, which is once in awhile, but not all that much. I like texting, but I just don't do it. Take care, and happy mylotting.
