You can earn money on facebook, there are plenty of users or people earning money using facebook as an online shop, creating accounts named after their shop or making fan pages for their store or business, my brother also use facebook for his tshirt designs

Actually, it's true. You can earn money from Facebook. I know this by the amount of activity in an SEO forum I frequent. People are actually buying and selling Facebook accounts. You don't trade accounts like this if there is no money to be made in Facebook.

You can earn in facebook by participating in Cloudcrowd, it's a facebook app that pays fb members for doing simple writing and editing jobs.
I've also heard that you can also earn by making a fb app like quizzes, etc. though I really don't know how that works.
