Romance Novels by male writers

So far I have read only two romance novels written by male writers and I must say they were much better compared to the ones written by women. What can you say about this, and what is your favorite romance book by a male writer and why do you like it? I want to know your opinion. Thank you.

i'm surprise that the novels by men were better because you would expect it to me the other way around because i believe that women are more soppy lol but maybe these men express their soppyness by writing

Yes. I'm sure you have heard of Nicholas Sparks. I just love his books.
