do u use fake profile when sign in in facebook?

hi there ifa! i think we can do that if we want to. like me, i do have lots of friends who are using different names on FB! but on my part, nope i don't use fake profile/name in there. but for a bit security purposes, i just set my profile to be private and just accessible to people that i know personally.

I never use a fake profile. I feel there is no point in using fake profiles. just a waste of time. I have the facebook aim is to get in touch with friends and relatives. so I do not need to use a fake profile.

I don't use a fake profile for my Facebook account which is the main reason why I do not just accept anyone to be my friend. I actually do that for all of my social networking site membership. Though I give my real profile, I don't supply everything to the dot. So that, if ever the company would like to sell the information there, they won't really get all of me, if you know what I mean. I'm not a believe of doing pseudo things that much, most especially if the people I have in my profile are my real friends.

i did it once in the other social networking sites and it worked for me. i got a lot of friends and mostly girls, since i also used a macho and good looking photo of a guy as my profile picture. but with facebook, i don't think i will use a fake profile. i want to be real at facebook so i can also get real people.

you can do that if your intention is to gain new network without considering your friends who known you for so long. How would they know that it was you? So ask yourself first. What I can suggest, use your real name first while you are still inviting your friends and when you had gathered them all, that is the time you can change maybe something known to them as well like your nickname.

No. The point of facebook is to connect to your friends and love ones. So how will you do that if you use fake information?

Sure you could..you arent suppose to mind you but you could...I dont see why anyone would want to though to be honest with you..I mean what would be the point?

hi ifa225 I am one of the few mylotters evidently that is not on facebook. I just have heard of too many people getting hurt just by being on facebook, I will just stay with mylot and be much safer.thanks.

No I always use my own true identity when I sign in on facebook. I believe this is the only way where you can meet relatives and friends who have been lost contact long ago so I prefer to be genuine and add only those who are related to me. However we can always be using a fake profile.

There are some who does that to get in referrals for their affiliate sites---you know that Men and Women go crazy when they find a Sexy pic in a profile page their bumped into accidently .so they would be making the most of those accidental victims or preys lol.great day.

Hello Ifa!. I am not using fake profile in Facebook. I use my true name so all my friend will notice it me. I had few friend who using fake name, its make me confuse when they request me as a friend, I had to see their picture to recognize who they are. I will add them if I know them from the picture and avatar, but few people even not put their own picture as avatar.

hi ifa225 i don't use fake profile , but i'm planning to so i can share my referral links to many people and have many referrals.. in my original account i only accept friend request of people that i know and i block people that only add me because they want to add me on their friend list but if i would have a fake profile i could add them all and they would not know that i am using that account.. have a nice day..

Why fake it? just put some limitation in your privacy... the thing is don't fake it....

you dont need to make fake ids as fb gives a lot of options of privacy and u can actually control everything
