I live in the tropical country, Philippines, where the weather was usually fine. But not until last year. We where hit by three Supertyphoon out of the 25 typhoons. And thousand of people died and Billions of dollar where lost. I'd never seen a typhoon like that since I was born (I am 35). And our house was never been flooded not until those typhoon came. And now that summer season should be end this May but still there are no rainfalls. All the grass have died. This is definitely the effect of GLOBAL WARMING.
But who's to blame? Ourselves. We only have one planet to leave, do kill it... save yourself, save your love-ones, save mother earth....
Conserve energy!!! Don't throw your trash anywhere. Recycle. DO YOUR PART!!!

Apart from water,electricity..we are in danger with Global warming,it is the duty of elders to give pollution free environment to the FUTURE GENERATIONS.
We are running nearer to the reducing petrolium reserves....what next,that too pollution free alternative energy..think of biodiesel,may be from algae,vegetables,palm,pongamia..JATROPHA..

Reduce using plastic ...massive plantation...increase forest area..reduce industrial green house gases...if we effectively follow,we can reduce pollution and protect our environment to SOME EXTENT...

I live in india and I belive global warming is a very big issue on the world is going to face in the next few years. I think we all have to take our resposibility for that and start using renewable resorses of energy.

Hello jamed28! I believe and practice the 3R's of nature that includes reduce, reuse and recycle that we all should practice in order to lessen or slow down the earth's destruction. I believe that we could only slow down global warming and not eliminate it totally. I didn't know if im correct because up to now, there's still no proven studies that we could eliminate global warming totally, any measures that we're doing right now if any, was just to slow down its total destruction. I just hope that most of us will observe the 3R's of environment, that's the least we can do because going back to the old times wherein our ancestors didn't have vehicles, electricity, modern gadgets and appliances was so impossible, and all of them contribute much to the earth's destruction so i guess it's really very hard to resolved this issues because of so much complications.
