found people talking about lots of sites i've never heard of and hoped the wonderful community at Mylot may be able to help. Could anyone give me information about the following sites:
gather
mahalo
answerland
kalutasan
shvoong
or any others. I use review streem and dooyoo already for reviewing, but i'd like to do more writing work online and less clicking!
I'm also planning on working with elance, constant content and associated content. (i know the last has a lot of good comments but anyone working with either of the first?)
and i have even tried little jobs on microworkers and Mturk!
But i try not to join more than a couple of new sites a week so i can have time to read he guidelines and actually start using them productivly!
Huge thanks inadvance for your help.

The only one I know anything about is Gather. It's similar to myLot in that you get paid (Gather uses a point system) for posting and for commenting on posts. It's hard to know just how much and what you get points for, though. If you enjoy writing and interacting with others, you can do fairly well there. Join some groups and introduce yourself. They pay with gift certificates and by Paypal.

You're welcome. Yes, you can end up with too many things for little reward. I've read where people make upwards of a hundred points a day at Gather, which means they could cash out for $25 every 16 or 17 days. I don't spend that much time there, so it takes me quite a bit longer.

Currently Gather does not make international payments even though the site is open to (almost) everybody throughout the wotld. International members should not worry because when Gather is allowed to do so the points collected remain intact.
Answersland is still in infancy. Things can go either way, but if you have spare time there is no harm in being active there.
Constant Content is for sale, therefore it may be better to proceed with caution.

Thankyou so much for the info. I made a couple of grammer mistakes on my constant content trial submission so they rejected it. I may take this off the 'active' list and put it to the bottom of the 'sites to (re)join later' list instead! looks like the other two will join them. Huge thanks!

Except answerland I am familiar with other sites. Each site is different. I don't use them as I have better sites to work on, thanks.

I never used that sites because im really not into writing , if you like reading articles and wants to get paid reading and rating it, try readbud (banner is on my profile), i dont know if you can write your own articles there

I am on shvoong, and while I haven't earned loads from them yet, I haven't really put that much of an effort into it either, so I can't really complain. I like them, they are easy to use and seem great. So I can recommend them. Also, I like Bukisa, but would advice against Triond since I had a bad experience with them recently.

unfortunately i dont know the sites you mentioned. i do know elance, constant content, and associated content. i joined all of them but i guess i associated content and constant content didnt suit me. for elance, i also tried it but i'm not into those bidding for work (or maybe i'm not really sold on it). you should try though if you are very serious with them. try odesk and freelancer too, they're the same as elance.
cheers and happy myLotting!
