If you were famous, how would you treat your fans?

I'm sure we've all seen celebritys on TV addressing their fans one way or another- some just smile and wave, some smalltalk with them, a couple actually treat them like a friend and a few just ignore them all together.
So, if you were a celebrity, what would you do?
I'm kind of a shy person, so I'd probably just smile and wave. I'd rather not talk to them and leave their images of me as is...I mean, if I was less than they expected I wouldn't want to dissapoint them.

hi olisaur
of course i'll be good to them and be thankful for their support because if they are not suporting me i would not be famous it's because of them why am i famous. and also i would meet them sometimes and tell them that i appreciate all they do so they will not get tired from supporting me, i would be also a good model for children, i would not spend money for nothing.. i think that's all for now, i will think of many when i do got famous..
have a nice day

I think I would talk to them like friends. I was in a local play once and people recognised me a couple of times while I was shopping. One couple, a mum and daughter, were loud enough for me to heart clearly so I turned and smiled and asked them if they liked the play...they babbled at me about how great the play was, how good I was in it and so on. I was very calm but inside I was thrilled to bits. The second time it was a whisper behind my back and I grinned to myself but I felt too shy to say anything. It was a wonderful feeling to be recognised and held in a bit of awe...lol.

if i could befriend each and everyone of them i would. because i will really find it awkward if people who i don't personally know started greeting or hugging or kissing me every time they see me. i don't smile or greet anyone. and i like to keep my private life. maybe, i'd be regularly followed through by paparazzi to bring me down by telling everyone i don't treat fans right and take pictures for proofs. ahahahah... seriously, i'm not the celebrity type. i'm probably more of an underground artist only few people knew of and so i don't have to deal with too much crowd or too many nameless people mobbing you.^_~

if I were famous,I'll try to be as thankful as possible with fans.I will take time to stop for autographs and photos.I will say hi and smile as often.I will keep some as friends.it is still important to be selective which fans to treat as fans and which can be treated as friends.otherwise you might end up having a stalker.

As far as I am concerned, I think I am so famous now, I think I will try my best to like my fans just as they like me. I think if I try my best to treat them better, I think they will treat better and better. With so much I was loved by my fans, I think I will be more famous in life, even be famous all over the world.Have a nice day.

Although, from my point of view, is a bit difficult to say how would I treat my fans I will say that If I were, for example, a famous musician I would have sustained small concerts for free in order to make people love me and my music. I'm not such a shy person so I would have been in the middle of the public with my microphone singing togheter..

When a fan meets his celebrity, he will be very much pleased to have a few words with that celebrity and he will cherish those words for ever. Hence I will not disappoint my fan. As far as possible, I will say hai, how are you, good to meet you and such peppy talk or words depending upon the situation. If there are many people and I cannot give individual attention, then I will generally address them as Hai to everybody, love to you all etc. Waving of hand to them, flying kisses will be there always, which will cheer them up. Good imagination and thanks to you for bringing that to me.

I get your point. I think the safest way is just to smile and wave; it's friendly enough and it doesn't take that much effort. It would probably be exhausting to chat with all the fans every time - because if you talk to one, I bet everyone else would expect you to do the same to them. Ignoring fans is kind of a turn-off. I remember reading something about Cameron Diaz being snobby to her fans, I got put off by her since then. A little well-disposed acknowledgment from a celebrity is more than enough.

If I were famous I would treat fan the way I would want to be treated. Respect and gratitude have to come from all sides. Without fans you wouldn;t be much of a celebrity. The price of fame can be long or short. How you treat a fan can depend on it,

I collect autographs of famous people, so I know that if I ever became famous, I would happily give autographs to my fans, as I know how happy it makes me now. I hope I would be friendly to everyone too.
