Okay, i found this online ad about a certain job opening. I have seen at the bottom of the ad that says "Please send your Resume to this email-add.,". Now my question is, Am i going to send ONLY a resume? or is it understood that a Cover letter should be included together with the resume? Help guys.

Some jobs require a cover letter and some don't. I sometimes send one anyways because it doesnt hurt to impress them with you're creative resume and cover letter. But do what you think is best and that will help you get the job. Good luck and I hope you get the job you're applying for.

Thanks a lot. I'm having this kind of problem coz i am a fresh graduate and i am looking for my first job. That's why I have no idea whether some employers consider applications without sending a cover letter. I really hope that i will be shortlisted. It's really hard to look for a job nowadays.

Of course, that is a very professional thing to do. You see, a cover letter is like an introduction of yourself. A good cover letter will make your potential employer want to read you resume. If your resume got read, the higher the chance you will get an interview with them.
Remember, in every application you make, always include a cover letter customized for that particular job opening.
