The Super Nintendo featured a game called Tetris Attack. it was originally known as Panel De Pon in Japan, but Nintendo decided to replace the characters in that game with Yoshi, and other characters from Yoshi's island. It was later rebranded on later Nintendo systems as Pokemon Puzzle League No matte what you call it, it's one of my favorite versions of Tetris by far(although, it isn't really a true Tetris game at all). As far as the more traditional games go, Tetris Plus added a neat element with the little explorer guy being on screen. the spiked ceiling was another interesting addition that seemed somewhat demented whenever the guy would try to climb to the top, knowing exactly what was waiting for him... Tetrisphere is an underrated gem on the N64.

I know what you mean. I remember being able to get to level 13 in Tetris, but struggle now way before getting close to that.
