can we install ms word 2003 in windows 7?

hi,
a friend of mine needs to install ms word 2003 version in her pc, but we r unable to install 2003 version in windows7 background... have anyone here come across this issue... or is it not at all possible to install it in windows7?

I installed ms 2007 on my pc there was no problem.
I think maybe the operation system is not your problem are you sure the problem is your operation system?
if it was true you can search this issue in Microsoft website.

No problem, my friend tried that before. But now MS is launching MS Office 2010, why don't your friend consider experiencing sometime new? I really think Office 2007 is not a little better then 2003...

yeah, we planned to install ms office 2010 but we have to submit a project and the professors need that to be in 2003 version thats y we r struggling with this..
