I'm not fond of eating Pineapple since I had an experience when I was younger when it terribly hurt my tongue after eating some..
I love drinking pineapple juice, though.. very cold pineapple juice.. :)

Speaking of pineapples,my relatives are working at the pineapple factory at DOLE Philippines in Polomolok South Cotabato. In Polomolok, you can always see in the streets those factory workers wearing those white uniform shirts, The factory is operating within 24 hours non-stop day and night.Dole Philippines caters mainly on pineapple markets abroad.
Their plantations are very wide, harvesting and planting time is done also almost 24 hours

Pineapple is definitely one of my favorites. We've got lots of them here in Bukidnon. The plantations here are mostly owned by Del Monte. I actually live near a plantation and when we visit there, we could eat as many pineapples as we want for free as long as we don't bring them outside the plantation.

Pineapple is rich in vitamin C and we need it for a healthy body.
I cannot consume much of it however for I have my hyperacidic stomach which become painful when I have too much acid intake.

vitamin C is very good for colds!! As with chicken soup! I love to boil a big pot of chicken soup when my son is sick with a cold.. I am doing it day infact! chicken veg and noodle soup home made by mummy is the real best medicine... hehe but maybe the panadol, vicks and vitamin c helps.

Hi. mimiang. I love pineapple too. If this fruit is packed with fiber, I will be very glad to eat it. I love fruits that are nutritious and delicious as well. I may need to pay a visit to Carbon, Cebu City so that I can try some of the delicious pineapple here.

I like pine apple but I love mangoes more than pineapple. The mango Cebu? Oh!! you can never find that type of mangoes in America. My hubby love to eat mangoes in the Philippines almost every meal because he can not find anything like that here in USA.

I also like pineapple. The obvious benefits of pineapple are all the vitamins and minerals the fruit is loaded with. Its nutrients include calcium, potassium, fiber, etc. Pineapple is a tropical fruit, it contains a proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which helps in the digestion of protein. You know this fruit is one of those foods that is heaven to eat. A good, juicy ripe pineapple can satisfy a sweet craving as well as any chocolate bar. In addition to being a delicious food, there are many health benefits of pineapple.

Yes I love pineapple too.
From the source I've ever read,
There is some tips on choosing a good pineapple..
Pineapple can be colored green or yellow color, when choosing a pineapple, pineapple choose a weight.
This is indicates the level of freshness.
To see if your chosen pineapple is ripe or not.
Rely on your sense of smell.
Ripe pineapple fruit has a strong smell, sweet and distinctive.
Pineapple fruits is not ripe feels very wry.
When the pineapple is not ripe harvested from plants.
The fruit will not be able to become more mature again.
pineapple fruit is not ripe it will begin to rot.
Because the pineapple does not have a back up that can be convert into sugar..

Pineapple cleanses our stomach and our digestive system. This fruit is capable of maintaining our healthy appetite. But eating too much pineapple could end up also abusing our body for the reason that this fruit is also acidic.

hi! mimiang, Pineapple is loaded with vitamins and minerals, its nutrients include calcium, potassium, vitamin c and fiber.
It is good to eat pineapple when you have colds and coughs. It can be eaten fresh, juice or even in can. It helps suppress coughs and loosen mucus.
I am a pineapple eater. I can even eat with an empty stomach. I love to take it first hour in the morning when I wake up.
It can also helps when you have dyspepia. But some don't like it because it cause them hyperacidity. For me, it is a neutralizer for my stomach acidity.
